Blizzardshine leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Owlkit was so excited, its time for her ceremony! She didn't let her mother groom her instead she was practically bouncing off the den walls. When she heard the familiar saying her eyes grew wider, "Mom its time!" The big kit bolted out of the nursery and just barely was able to stop before crashing into High rock itself. Her thick fur sticking up at points. Her head lifted up to Blizzardshine her ears perked with a wide smile on her face.

Falconpaw teetered out the apprentice den with sleepy eyes, plopping down to watch the ceremony before a patrol was formed, he couldn't sleep the night prior but he wasn't going to be considered lazy. He couldn't do that now while he was barely fitting in, not to mention what trouble recently came.

Smokepaw entered the clearing at the sound of the call, it must be a ceremony if Blizzardshine is up there. No Apprentice is ready to be a warrior yet, so I wonder... Oh! he forgot Owlkit, his sister was supposed to be apprenticed today. He padded over to her. "Congratulations, Owlkit!," he mewed, proud for his sister, "Now I'm going to be stuck with you again!" he purred jokingly.

Owlkit was about to step forward when a cat padded up to her confused gaze looked over and saw her brother. Her eyes lit up then she purred, "Thanks Smokepaw! Just you wait till we go on patrols together. I will beat you at everything! Yes you will be! And you won't get rid of me now." With that she stepped forward.

Blizzardshine chuckled softly, giving enough time to the brothers to exchange some quick words before talking again “Owlkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Owlpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Cloudstorm. I hope she passes down all she knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

"Owlpaw! Owlpaw!" Smokepaw chanted, congratulating his sister. He wondered why she was apprenticed so long after him. Well, she's an apprentice now so there's no worry now.

The newly named Owlpaw smiled as she padded up to her mother, her mentor now and purred as they touched noses barely able to contain her excitement. She is an apprentice now! Finally! She purred louder as her brother congratulated her.
