| Shadekit was sitting outside the nursery, pacing in an excited circle, but she stopped when she heard Ashstar's call. She let out an excited mew--her apprentice ceremony was about to start! She knew that her fur was a mess, but she didn't care (she was sure her mother wouldn't share that sentiment, but she didn't care about that, either), and she joined the growing crowd under the Tallrock. She had seen apprentice ceremonies before, watched the kits be called forward from the crowd, but somehow, this become yet another thing she simply didn't care about, and she marched confidently forward to stand at the base of the rock.
She had been wondering who her mentor would be--whoever it was, she was sure they would be great, and train her to be an excellent warrior, but she hoped it wasn't someone too bossy. She didn't like being ordered about, and she was hoping that this ceremony would be a post closer to being able to exercise free will without getting into trouble. ______________________________________  Character ProfilesActive Plots- Bearpaw:

From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Shadepaw. Your mentor will be Furzethroat.
