Duties of a Medicine Cat:

A Medicine cat's duty is a solem and very active duty. Medicine cats have the duty to heal every cat within his or her clan to the best of his/her ability. They communicate and act as a link to Starclan for their clan and leader. To be able to be a successful Medicine Cat, that cat must be available and reliable. They are not allowed to engage in violence, for it against their duties to cause harm to another cat. Medicine Cats every half moon travel to the Moonstone with all other Medicine Cats from the other clans to speak and share tongues with Starclan. No Medicine Cat is permitted to have a mate or kits. They interpret prophecies and get to know all the herbs and other medicines a cat may use to treat others. In addition, Medicine Cats may make their own herbal mixtures. Cinderpelt did this as a Medicine Cat Apprentince to heal sick Shadowclan warriors she briefly hid on Thunderclan territory in the first series of Warriors to drive away their mysterious illness.
Sitewise, Medicine Cat Apprentinces must always be on the ready to join a thread that has called on his/her assistance. I fully intend for Roaringkit to be available every day for this purpose. Since joining, I have routinely checked the site's threads. If I am unable to do so for a period of time, I will post an annnouncement to let everyone know of the circumstance.

What You Would Do With The Position:

Roaringkit would be interesting. He's loud, a little insecure about his tiny body, but as he grows the cat will become a positive force in the clan. His loud voice will help get cats to listen to him when he needs them to get to the Medicine Cat Den to be healed, and help him comfort his clanmates with an optimistic personality. I think that this position would allow Roaringkit to grow spiritually with Starclan and to be a better cat for his clan.  

Why Do You Think You Deserve This Position:

I know that seniority on this site is particularly a huge factor to choosing which cats get these kinds of positions. However, there is something to be said about some fresh blood to flow through this site's veins and new perspectives. I understand newer members are unfamiliar, but that means they can bring ideas that hasn't been conjured before. It would make this website fresher, which is to your advantage. I wish that these facts are considered before making a final decision.
