Frosted Pine (Open)

The kit, with his sleek fur and enormous pride, stepped confidently outside the nursery. It was his first time outside, but that didn't at all take away from the striding assuredness in his step - a remarkable sight considering he was barely two moons old.
Pinekit glanced around, looking for any of his sibling or a new friend - anyone to spend time with, to talk to. Needless to say, he was not a solitary kit, nor a quiet one.
But now, he simply wandered around, searching for any cat to strike up a conversation with.

A white fluffy cursed kitten with black paws and wars with a ginger nose stripe spotted her brother and crept up on him. With a squeak Tawnykit leapt at her brother with a grin"get Pinekit"she mewed.

Jaykit had padded out of the nursery, he had only been outside a couple of times and from his perspective the camp was huge! At the sight of the bright sun the small kit let out a mighty achoo! Shaking his head he sniffed glancing around the camp where he saw some cats around his height. Jaykit was extremely happy about this since it meant he could play with them. Trotting over he squealed "Hello!"

Nearby the group of playful kits, Ryepaw laid with his back to the nursery, a mound of pale ginger tabby fur.  His fluffy tail lay still on the ground, and his head rested forlornly on his front paws.  Icy eyes unusually dim, the young tom sighed; ever since he had found out about Ambernose's pregnancy, he had been very depressed.  Now that the kits were born, they were just walking reminders that the cat he loved was so far away, out his reach.  It's not fair!  What does...that tom have that I don't?!  Blinking, he shifted his gaze to the fresh-kill pile, and contemplated grabbing a meal.  Meanwhile, he was fully open to an attack from an unruly kit.

A black and white kit followed her brother and sister out of the nursery. When she saw her sister leaping at their brother she jumped at him too giggling. She greeted the another kit who padded up to the siblings "Hi! Who are you? You want to play?" She remembers seeing the kit around but haven't talked to him yet.
