The Amber Glows in the Shadows(birth Topic need Medicine cat)

Ambernose had long sense moved into the nursery after her swollen belly had become more noticable she had no choice but to move to the nursery. She was laying in the nursery fur a tad bit messy but them again it was hard for her to groom in some places. The she cat laid there for a few minutes before she felt a sharp pain and she let out a yelp and called for the medicine cat.

Honeydrop padded out of the den with some herbs. "H-Here you go, Ambernose," she said shortly, putting the herbs in front of the queen's face. "You're doing f-fine."

Ambernose blinked looking to the she cat that came to her aid. She figures she was supposed to eat the herbs in front of her. She wasn't sure it was her first time kitting. She lapped up the herbs and swallowed then trying her best to ignore the sour taste as some of the pain eased a bit. Though it wasn't for long as she felt a spasm course through her. The first kit would be coming soon.

Littlebrook's head shot up from the spot she was napping in at the sound of her daughter's pained yowl. Ambernose had been expecting kits for quite a while now and she knew they were due any day. Well I guess todays the day. She thought cheerfully. She was going to be a grandma! Wow that made her feel old, but she didn't care.

She rushed into the nursery to see Honeydrop helping her daughter along with her first litter and she purred her gratitude for the kind medicine cat before bending her head to give Ambernose a comforting lick between her ears. "You're doing amazing, Ambernose." She purred reassuringly.

Ambernose blinked her light amber eyes filled with pain but she was glad her mother was there. Soon enough the she car her four healthy kits at her side.

Once was a white furry kit with black paws and Ambernose' ginger stripes nose.

The tiniest scrap of fur in the litter snuggled closer to his mother, looking for milk. When he couldn't find any, he let out a loud meow from his tiny frame, hence his name Roaringkit.

A black and white bundle of fur with a red stripe on her tail suckled from her mother. She made so much noise drinking the milk that it echoed throughout the den.

Roaringkit heard his sibling and started to shuffle over to her, hoping to find food where she was. He nuzzled his way to Ambernose's flank, accidentally head-butting his sister.

Echokit squealed loudly when she felt something hit her head, nudging her away. She recovered quickly though and suckled Ambernose`s flank again now next to her brother.

Ambernose looked to the kits quietly wishing Night was with her to even name them with her. She smiled some and looked at the black and white she lot with the single ginger stripe."Echokit"she then she heard the tom kit."Roaringkit"she purred quietly before her gaze went to the white black and ginger kit"Tawnykit" she then looked to the two other kits quietly thinking of names.

The newly named Tawnykit mewled and pushed past her siblings before she started to suckle.

The tiny, silvery tom snuggled against his mother, his fur like frost on a pine. He let out a contempt mewl, shoving his siblings to the side as he fought for his mother's attention.

Roaringkit let out a meow of protest as his brother shoved them aside. He felt a jolt of panic, empty air surrounding the tiny kit where the warm fur of his mom and siblings should be.

A gray and white kit snuggled closer to his mother feeling other small bodies wiggling around him. Soon he heard his mother say his name was Duskkit. Duskkit...I like it. Hmmm...milk.. Duskkit heard his sister...Echokit...squeal quietly. After bringing in the scent of all his siblings, Duskkit snuggled closer to his mother suckling strongly and soon drifting off to sleep. This is my family....I have a family... He thought quickly before falling into a deep sleep.
