Goosepaw's and Rockpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Blizzardshine smiled as she hoped onto the Highrock, finally another apprentice was ready to become a warrior “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Rockpaw strode rather regally from the apprentice's den, his wounds having healed and feeling at peace with himself despite nearly dying; he had made friends with Falconkit, his friends knew he was alive and all was well in his world. Stepping into the clearing he turned to look for his partner in this ceremony, Goosepaw.

Goosepaw slowly approched and looked for some courage to Rockpaw, which was also having ceremony today. Thinking about all her training and deciding, that she was satisfied with the speed of training altough Mistywater, her first mentor dissapeared and Jaysong had to took over Goosepaw assessment. Goosepaw was more than ready for her warrior ceremony.

Blizzardshine waited until enough cats were gathered before speaking again “Goosepaw, Rockpaw, please, step forward”

Rockpaw dipped his head encouragingly to Goosepaw before taking his step forwards, looking right up at Blizzardshine. He had wished that Darkstar would have done his ceremony, but with her too ill to leave her den, he would have to settle with the look of pride on her face.

Goosepaw followed her clanmate and she steped forward like it was expected from her. She was happy that Blizzardshine was leading her and Rockpaw ceremony, becuase she was already on some patrols with a deputy and on one of them, they found Snowkit, which was now in ThunderClan. She smiled to Rockpaw, when he tried to encourage her and then looked into the deputy.

Blizzardshine took a deep breath “I, Blizzardshine, deputy of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They had trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn” As soon as she was done speaking she looked at the two cats with a warm smile “Goosepaw, Rockpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?”.

Rockpaw gave it some thought, he had nearly died on two different occasions trying to do what was best, one for his clan and the other for such a stupid reason, but with some contemplation he thought it would be acceptable to say it was to make sure he'd rest no more burden upon his clan. So with this in mind he nodded stiffly, his neck still sore. "I do." He meowed boldly, only looking to Blizzardshine now, no longer Goosepaw. He wondered what their warrior names would be.

Goosepaw immediately said: "I do." Here voice was like a echo of Rockpaw´s voice, which was much loader. Then she looked into deputy and waited for fortune words, which will probably followed.

Blizzardshine nodded approvingly, smile widening before speaking once more “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names” She first looked at Goosepaw “Goosepaw, from this moment you will be known as Goosefeather. StarClan honors your loyalty and compassion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” After that she turned to look at Rockpaw “Rockpaw, from this moment you will be known as Rockthorn. StarClan honors your loyalty and devotion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” With that, she leaped off the Highrock and rested her muzzle on the newly named warriors’ heads to conclude the ceremony.

Goosefeather happily whispered her new name. So beautifull name. She didn´t expect that so beautifull name can go with such weird prexif as Goose. When she was a kit, she thought what could be her new name. She thought of Goosenose, or Gooseface? Goosefeather was the most beautifull name that she could got. Newly appointed warrior was also very proud that deputy turned to her first. What an honour.
