The Poisonous Rose is Budding

Blazeflight sat in the middle of camp, waiting to go on an early morning patrol. Not many cats were awake at this time, but the pile looked like it could use a squirrel or two, and she was awake, so what harm could it do? After waiting a bit to see if anyone would join her, she decided to make an announcement."Would anyone like to join me for a hunting patrol?" She shuffled her paws when no one responded, her nub tail twitching nervously. She began to head to the entrance behind her, when a voice sounded off behind her. 

"You know for a cat whose ribs are still healing, you sure can move fast." Shadewillow huffed, a twinge of amusement trickling into his voice, speeding up slightly to catch up with Blazeflight. Ever since she had her ribs broken during the escapade with Emberheart, they had become a bit closer than they previously had been- he had always made a habit of visiting the injured warrior as often as he could. "I'm always up for hunting," He continued, sauntering towards the gap in the bramble entrance, tail playfully whisking Blazeflight's face as he passed by, "Especially when it involves escorting a pretty she-cat around the territory." He teased, throwing a wink back over his shoulder at the she-cat.

"Well for a cat who's aren't, you move rather slow." She joked, a smile on her muzzle. She had seen alot more of Shadewillow as of recent, but she wasn't complaining. She grinned, even more, when he walked past her. She was glad he was up for hunti- What!?! "Who's the lucky cat?" She taunted back, speeding past him and into the swamp-like territory. She paused to sit, waiting for him to appear like he always had right when she needed it. She had been having troubles training her apprentice, not that he was an impediment, but she felt like she had a long way to go before she was completely healed. She felt that if she talked to him about it, she may feel better about the situation in general. Maybe he could help her to relearn to balance, both mentally and physically.
