Jamie smiled at the girl, "I'm going to give you one piece of advice," she crouched down in front of the girl, and lowered her voice to a mere whispered. "If you are ever to get anything you want or need, you have to get some confidence."

Lily blinked- she wasn't going to try to agree or disagree with the girl. Still, she felt her blush receding as she looked at Jamie. She slowly nodded.

Jamie sat down in front of the girl and looked at her smiling, "Believe it or not, I was just like you once," she knew that Lily would doubt her, but she nodded as she continued, "yes, it's true. I was once as shy and afraid as you are, but you know what I did? I got confident in myself, I knew how much I could do and I knew who I was and who I wanted to be. You need to be confident in yourself. Tell me, what do you want to be when you grow up?" Jamie asked politely.

"I-I d-don't r-really know... I've n-never thought a-about it. The small girl said thoughtfully. "N-no m-matter what I do, t-though, I-I'd l-like to b-be around horses.
M-maybe a breeder or s-something?"
She shrugged. She didn't really think she'd make it past college.

Jamie thought about it for a moment, "Well, you could breed, join the circus as a trainer, you could board, or even become a vet," she tried to give the girl more than just a simple job with horses. Jamie felt sorry for her, because she had no desire to strive in life.

Lily nodded. "M-maybe," she said simply. She shrugged again. With the way my life is going, I'd be lucky to live to 21. She thought quietly to herself. She blinked, looking up at the girl, Jamie.
"H-h-how long h-have you b-b-been here?" She asked, steering the conversation out of dangerous waters.

"I don't know. We'll have to be discreet and have a good excuse," Natalie commented. It wasn't a bad idea.

Jamie gave a dry laugh, "I've been here since I was three, so almost sixteen years." she was proud to have stayed with Miss Sadie for so long, even though it was heartache all the time.

Adam smiled, "We can go over details later, let's get out there!" he sprung from where he stood and raced out the door. He headed down the stairs at a rapid pace and was ready to jog out the door.

A little confused at why they needed to hurry, Natalie dashed after Adam, making sure to be on alert of anything that didn't seem right. As they left the house, she turned to make sure that Adam was keeping up, even though he had a large head start.

Clover walked back to her room. Flowers looked up from her bed, mewing and walking over to Clover. She smiled and picked her up, then went onto her bed. Flowers laid on top of her. Clover smiled and pet her cat. She really loved and cared for animals, but other human beings, that's a different story. She barely talks to people. She's been to the best local therapist, all public speaking classes in the state, and nothing worked for her. She went to sleep with Flowers.

Adam nodded to the barn, indicating that that's where Xander had disappeared to. He silently stepped in and hid beside a shadowed wall as he watched Xander take the chain and duct tape from the barn. Xander then slipped out the door, Adam turned to Natalie, "I wonder where he's taking them?" he then turned toward the door and watched as Xander headed for the house. "Shall we follow him further?" he thought the information would be useful, in case of a disappearance.

"Yes we should. This could be the exact information we are looking for. You follow him, and I'll get my phone and be back as quick as I can. I need proof," Natalie explained. She quickly ran back to the house, careful not to pass through Xander's sight. She was soon in her room, digging through her suitcase until she found her phone. Silently congratulating herself, she headed back to Adam.

Adam waited for Xander entered the house and he slipped up the steps and watched from the small window in the top of the door. Xander entered the living room and Adam snuck inside, he hid from behind the hallway wall, as he waited for Xander's next move. He nodded to Natalie as she climbed down the steps. He peered in as Xander just opened the fireplace passageway, his mouth dropped open, shocked by what he had witnessed.

Natalie silently climbed down the steps, and stood in amazement as Xander opened a secret passage. This house was way cooler than she had initially thought, it seemed. Adam looked even more shocked, so Natalie decided to make the next move herself. After Xander disappeared down the passage, she snuck over to entrance. It was well hidden, so it took her a little while to find the latch. She turned to Adam, silently mouthing, should I open it?

Adam shook his head, "No, let's wait until he comes back up, and then sneak down there," he didn't want them to get injured or hurt in any way by Xander if they snuck down there while he was there. Especially since they didn't know what was down there.

It was in that moment, when they heard the heavy footsteps of someone coming from the passageway. Adam nodded to Natalie, and dove behind the couch. After they were hidden, the door opened and Xander appeared. He glanced around to see if anyone was in the room or had saw him and then went out into the hallway and headed out the front door. Outside he saw James and decided to have a little fun.

Adam nodded toward the passageway wanting Natalie to open it.
