Adam willingly sat next to Natalie, "Look, I'm new to the whole sibling thing, as far as I'm concerned, you are more important to me than Jamie." he whispered to her as he straightened his napkin.

Archer smiled and looked at Kevin, "so are you going to sing tonight?" he asked.

OOC: I thought it would be funny if Kevin sang like Welcome to the Black Parade or something like that :D

James sat down with them.

"That's good. Because you are far more important to me than Jamie." Natalie laughed slightly, and smiled at Adam. She was a little new at trusting people, and he seemed like an okay person to try it out on.

"I don't know yet. Do you think I should sing?" Kevin continued the conversation, a little doubtful of his ability to sing. He had never not accepted a challenge before, so if asked if he would he would probably say yes.

Archer thought for a moment, "Hey," he paused to reveal his excitement, "would you like to sing a song together?" his brown eyes shining with enthusiasm.

Adam smiled, "So I was thinking of singing tonight." he said staring at the ceiling and then giving her a sarcastic look.

Jamie smiled and held James's hand under the table.

Miss Sadie returned with drinks and food, and then walked over to the corner where some other moms were standing.

James smiled and gave her hand a squeeze. "Are you gonna sing Jamie?"

Jamie gave a sarcastic huff, "You know I am!" she laughed a bit, "You know, I've been practicing my singing every day for the past year," she paused, "In the shower of course, but none the less I have practiced," she laughed again and took a drink of the soda Miss Sadie had brought her.

James laughed and opened up the soda that he was brought.

"I just haven't picked a song yet..." she wondered if she should sing her old faithful song or should she try something new.

James smiled.

Natalie wondered if Adam was being serious or not. He looked like the kind of person who would be a great singer, but Natalie knew looks didn't define a person.
"Are you a good singer or a bad singer? If you are a good singer, I can't wait to seed you sing. If you are a bad singer, well..." Natalie laughed a little and looked happily back at Adam.

"That would be cool. What should we sing? Just warning you, my singing voice isn't the best," Kevin answered, glad someone was trying to be his friend. He just hoped that it would last

Adam puffed out his chest, "I happen to think I'm an excellent singer, its the rest of the world that thinks I stink," he laughed and took a drink of his soda. "I think I'll sing... Teenagers by My Chemical Romance," he said thinking thoroughly.

Jamie smiled, "Well, I think I'm going to sing either Immortals or Irresistable by Fall Out Boy," she said thinking of her options.

Archer smiled, "I'm no good either, but hey we're just supposed to have fun right?" he said thinking of his own talents.

James laughed and shook his head.

OOC: I am obsessed with Panic at the Disco type music, so feel free to choose a totally different topic I can't think of.

"Yeah, it's what you feel that counts. It's fun to sing, even if you are't the best one there. Maybe we could sing something like Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots, or if not we could do something totally different." Kevin wondered how he would do singing in front of all of these people. He started eating his food, not realizing how hungry he was until then.

"Whatever you do, I'll want to hear it. Who cares what other people think? If they don't like it, they don't listen. And if they do say something..." Natalie smiled, "They'll get it right back at them." Natalie took a sip of her drink, then smiled at Adam and the stage. "We'll show them who can rule karaoke."

Archer thought for a moment, "What about Footloose by Kenny Loggins?" he asked.

Adam laughed, he liked the fire in her eyes when she spoke of her passion.

Jamie smiled, and then a voice came over the system, "Hello, everybody! Alright, I see a lot of anxious people out there waiting to get up here and show off their talents! Alright, so next to me there is a sign up sheet where you all can come and sign up to sing, I just need your name, song you are going to sing, and if you want to compete in tonight's singing contest. The best singer or singers tonight shall win a cash prize of $500, so come and sign up to win big!" The DJ then turned his mic off and waited for the people to come sign up. Jamie instantly hopped up at the chance to win, she dashed into the mob of people ready to sign up. She hurried to the list and put down her name and song submission, and then hurried back to her seat.

"Perfect! I love that song!" Kevin eagerly agreed to Archers idea. "Let's go sign up now." Kevin headed into the large line (more like blob) of people to sign up to sing with Archer.

Natalie leaped from her seat at the announcement and dashed over to the sign up sheet, and she ended up pretty close to the front. She wrote down her name (Natalie Mayor) and the song she was going to sing (Victorious), and put down that she was competing, eager for a shot at victory.
