| Being able to get out of camp again felt good. Gaining an apprentice felt good. Blazeflight was getting better. She figured maybe, just maybe, she could go out into the territory to get some hunting done. She headed out towards the camp, but then thought. I've got an apprentice! I should be out teaching him something! She turned back around, wincing at the slight ache still left in her chest. She poked her head inside the den, looking around for Lynxpaw."Lynxpaw, were going out for some training today. come on and get something to eat, and we'll head out." She took a deep breath and padded to the edge of camp, waiting for him to appear. | Lynxpaw heard a she-cat's voice calling him awake, at first confused but then remembering his ceremony yesterday. Excitement rushed through him and he jumped to his feet, practically falling over Venompaw, who's tail was still in pain after the Sleetfang incident, in his excitement to get outside. The she-cat grumbled under her breath and rolled over, curling up once more.
Lynxpaw ran over to Blazeflight, ears pricked with excitement, and meowed
"I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready let's go let's go don't move so slowly!" before rushing out through the camp entrance. He'd never been outside of camp before, and it all seemed so new and exciting that he didn't even pause for breath when he spoke. When he realised he'd left his new mentor behind, he trotted back and poked his head through the entrance, saying apologetically
"I mean, uh, I'll wait for you."
