Just another day...

As a freshly groomed Frozenkit padded out of the nursery, leaving Shiningkit to their mother for her turn, she looked around with hopeful eyes, searching out a certain brown pelted tom. Tigerkit was going to become an apprentice any day now and Frozenkit had been dreading it. Though she was excited for him she knew she would miss playing with him. He of course assured her that he would still have time to play with her but Frozenkit wasn't too sure.

Spotting the tom across camp Frozenkit ran over to him, a bright smile on her face. Once she reached him she mewed out a greeting, though her eyes focused on her paws. "H-Hi Tigerkit"

Tigerkit jumped, startled at first as Frozenkit ran up to him. He calmed down after a second, after he realized that it was just Frozenkit. "Oh, hi. What's up?" He asked. He was thinking this was supposed to be just a normal conversation that all the kits would have. He was guessing that Frozenkit was just wanting to play and maybe be friends. However, even Tigerkit couldn't take his own eyes off of her.

Frozenkit glanced up quickly before refocusing her attention on her paws. "N-not much. Wanna play a game?" Frozenkit looked up hopefully, ignoring the nervousness she felt.

ooc: sorry, if you made this for a specific reason, Lostsoulsbleed, but I thought I might throw a teasing sister in this. A teasing sister named Shiningkit xD.

ic: Shiningkit had followed her sister out of the nursery after her grooming session, which she secretly liked a lot. She saw her sister padding over to Tigerkit, who Shiningkit thought was obvious that Frozenkit liked a lot and liked to tease her about it. She trotted over and sat down next to Frozenkit, but then stood up again. " Hey Frozenkit, Tigerkit, can I play with you guys? Or am I intruding on something special?" She put a lot of emphasis on that word, raising her eyebrows at Frozenkit. It was an obvious tease for her, but not to harsh for he sisters. she knew that the she and her sister were close enough to tease each other like that. She looked at the way the tom kit was looking at Frozenkit and raised her eyebrows a him. Even though he was several moons older than her, she wasn't afraid to speak her mind to him when it came to her sister. She would be happy if Frozenkit was happy- and Tigerkit wasn't a bad kit at all. In fact, she rather liked him. She peered at them. Did like Frozenkit? It seemed like he might. She shrugged. Well, even if they do like each other she thought. I can still play with them! She looked at them inquiringly and meowed " So, what are you playing?"

Tigerkit shifted slightly closer to Frozenjit. He wasn't sure of what kind of game she was wanting to play so he shrugged and asked "What kind of game do you want to play?" Then he saw another kit come up over to them asking if she could join them. "Hi Shiningkit what's up?" Tigerkit asked politely.

"Oh... What about-" Frozenkit jumped a bit, cutoff by Shinningkit's greeting. Staring at her sister with eyes wide at her not so subtle question, Frozenkit glared at her sister for a moment, obviously mentally telling her sister to stop teasing her, before sighing and looking down at her paws, her momentary confidence gone. "So, what are you playing?" Looking over at her sister Frozenkit shrugged a bit. "We hadn't decided yet."

ooc: sorry to ask but would you mind using a different color besides that bright blue? its just a little irritant to my eyes.

ic: Tigerkit was bored and was itching to do something. It was obvious that he was having a hard time sitting still. "Well I need something to do. I'm bored out of my mind." Tigerkit said to both of them.

OOC: Sorry! I changed it. Also, Shine hasn't gotten on in a few days (or if she has she hasn't answered my pms or posted here) so I'm going to just skip over her - Also, getting rid of her shyness. It's annoying me xD

IC: Frozenkit sat down before quickly standing back up again. "Well we could practice hunting on leaves." Frozenkit get a mischievous glint in her eyes and stepped closer to Tigerkit "Or we could ambush the next patrol to come back into camp." Though usually Frozenkit wouldn't subject random members of her clans to pranks like she did her sister but she definitly thought the idea sounded like fun and promised an interesting result.

Tigerkit got excited at the idea of ambushing the next patrol. His icy blue eyes even lit up as he spoke "Oh! I like the idea of ambushing the next patrol that comes into camp." But then he thought and added, "But how are we going to do that exactly?" Tigerkit was one of those kits who always had to be doing something since he seemed to always be full of energy.

Frozenkit flicked her tail at the tunnel that was the only way through the brambles that surrounded camp. Keeping her voice lowered the she-kit explained her plan, tail flicking back and forth. "We hide behind the brambles on either side of the entrance and right as the next returning patrol comes through we pounce on them!" Giggling Frozenkit looked at Tigerkit to see if her approved of her plan.

Shiningkit looked at Frozenkit curiously. She nodded, then mewed " I'll go distract them before you pounce. If they're distracted by me, they won't take notice that you're hiding just behind the brambles. Then, when you pounce, I'll grab their legs and pull from underneath them." Shiningkit surprised herself with how well thought out her plan was. She picked up the strategies she used from watching the apprentices practice their battle moves in camp, eavesdropping on apprentices and warriors conversations about training and border arguments, and her imagination. She hoped her imagination would be a good thing for her as an apprentice and warrior, and help her come up with new and different ways to solve problems and do tasks. But now I'm in my head... Again. She shook her head to stop herself. " So... Why don't we go ahead and start this ambush?"
