Kits in the snow (Open)

Jaykit opened his eyes, yawning. Outside the nursery the snow was covering the camp and cold breeze entered. The tom-kit sneezed, but he liked the cold air on his pelt. He wanted to go out and play in the snow, so he stood up, stretching his legs, and started to touch with his paws the body of Hailkit.
"Hey, Hailkit. Do you wanna go outside and explore together?

The grey-white tom yawned, turning over in his nest. "'T's too early, Jaykit," he mumbled into the moss, white paws covering his small ears. "You're in'erupting my sleep." Hailkit rolled over onto his back so his fluffy belly showed, stretching his hind legs as far up into the air as they could go. "'Sides, I was havin' this dream 'bout a fish, and I was eating it." He stared up at the dark nursery ceiling wistfully, blinking. His eyes had only opened a few sunrises ago.

Jaykit looked at his brother a little annoyed and continue pushing him softly.
"Oh, come on, Hailkit! You never want to play with me." Meowed.
He often wasn't the energetic kit that wanted to run, play and be a warrior before the six moons, but... Jaykit really loved the snow and the world outside the dark nursery. At least, he wished to see the sunlight and feel the snow under his fluffy paws with his brother.
"Pleeeeease... We can go and see real fishes in the fresh-kill pile!"

"'Kay, fine," he complained, rolling over and staring at his brother wearily. The idea of seeing some real fishes excited him, and he jumped out of the nest, shaking out his grey fur so it hit Jaykit. Bright, kit-blue eyes peeked out of whiskers and fluff, and the tom giggled, leaping atop the grey tabby kit and bowling him over, scrambling over his back with sharp, tiny claws and running fast as his paws could carry him toward the entrance of the nursery.

Happily and laughing, Jaykit followed Hailkit running as fast as he can, trying to catch him before he arrives the exit of the nursery.
"I'm going to win this race!" Shouted Jaykit while his brother was near to reach the outside world. Decided to beat the gray tom, the blue-gray kit hopped, attempting to fall in the back of Hailkit.
But he failed miserably, falling in the white and cold snow with his face. Jaykit stood up fastly and started shaking the snow in his pelt.

ooc;; hey, sorry to be all staff-like and stuff, but just to tell you for the future, you can't control other people's characters, like what you've done with Hailkit laughing at Jaykit's fall. You can edit your post if you'd like ^^ And by the way, I made the exact same mistake when I was new here XD

ic;; Feeling wind flutter near his tail before mysteriously disappearing in an oomf, Hailkit whipped around, eyes wide as the sight of his brother face-first in the snow. He snorted, running to his brother's aid to nudge his head from the drift, eyes shining with delight.

"We're out!" he declared, spinning round to face the camp. Warriors and apprentices trotted by as dawn filtered through frost-covered tree fronds, throwing a joyful patch of splattered sunlight into the clearing.

IC: The kit stared at the warriors and apprentices with admiration and respect. The colors, smells and cats were so new to Jaykit and he was so happy and excited for this first adventure with his brother.
"This is awesome!" Said with joy. He looked his own paws covered in snow, blissful for the sensation.
"Let's go to the fresh-kill pile!" Jaykit, playfully, push the grey kit with his body, inviting him to go together.

"Remember not to play with prey. Warriors and apprentices worked hard to catch it for us, don't disrespect their hard work." A voice called out from behind the two kits, it was their mother, Ivyfall. The silver tabby padded out of the nursery, yawning as she shook off the last traces of sleep from her body. This was the problem with kitting, she found herself far more lethargic that a deputy had any right to be. "I'm going to get a vole, you're welcome to have your first tastes of kill."

Flicking them playfully with her tail, the queen went over to paw at a vole till it rolled over to her. Gripping it between her teeth, the queen settled over near the willow tree before taking her first bite, bones crunching.

Jaykit looked at the kill-pile with new eyes. He didn't think about playing with the food, but now he knew that the warriors and apprentices worked hard for their clan.
He approached the prey and smelled the fish and other animals. It was all so new and exciting to Jaykit that it was hard for him to chose between all that food.
Finally, he decided to pick a little silver fish with his fangs. Even without eating it, Jaykit could taste the kill, excited and happy. He lied down near to his mother and started biting. Doing that, he thought in the riverclan warrior that caught that fish, imagining how great it would be to hunt and go out the camp. One day it would be his turn to be the one that gets prey for the kits.
