A Bramble Without Thorns [Closed]

Lionspark was doing to do it. She held her breath as she watched other side of the camp with flatten ears. Her tail flickered back and forth as he summoned up the courage. She was going to do it...She was going to do it. She got to her paws, taking small but brisk steps as she crossed the clearing. But as she got closer, her paws felt like slush as she forced herself to stop. Was he...Always so...Cute? Her ears fell back on her head as her squared her shoulders. No! She didn't think he was cute! He was a self-righteous jerk! She was coming over so that she could finally teach him how to have fun. Taking another deep breath, she forced herself forward at a slower pace this time until she found herself face to face with the tom she was looking for. "Br-Bramblefrost." Her voice was shaky, almost all breath leaving her lungs as he was so close to him. Why...Why did he have to be so cute?

Bramblefrost slowly ripped off piece by piece of the starling he had chosen for his meal. He was disappointed by the size, but in these cold weathers, nothing came close to plump. He seemed to groan as he ate, mulling over how difficult life became during Leafbare. His tail lashed back and forth and his green eyes became slits.

Too focused on his meal, he barely noticed Lionspark as she approached him. It took him a moment to react to her shaky voice, but his eyes eventually left the pile of feathers and rose to stare at his old apprentice. She was a rather expressive, somewhat violent she-cat in her attempts to "reform his pessimistic personality". She was usually so confident, so why was there a hesitation and crack in her voice?

"What?" he meowed blankly, crossing his white paws and waiting for her to speak/

"I...Uh..." Her blue eyes met Bramblefrost's striking green ones as she tried to form something - anything - to say. But her brain felt...Foggy, the words struggling to come to her as she stared at her ex-mentor. Being so close to him, she realized that he wasn't cute. He was handsome. Big, muscles flexing under his sleek, nice tabby fur. How had she..What had changed in her to suddenly realize all of this? Because it was now because she was grown up, a proper warrior, that she started to realize how attractive toms were starting to get.

After all, at some point she would need a mate so that she could provide ThunderClan with new warriors but...Bramblefrost? What did she see in Bramblefrost? She wanted to shake her head - convince herself that she was only attracted to his outside appearance. She hated his personality with a burning passion, that was why she was here after all. But still, the proper words failed to come to her so she simply flashed him a slightly forced smile. "May I, uh, sit with you?" she asked, but sat down before he could say anything or turn her away, her claws digging into the ground to root her to the stop as she struggled to get a level head.

Bramblefrost kept his eyes fixated on her's, a perfect poker face stuck on his face. Her stutter was interesting. Her behaviour was rather curious. He noticed the way her gaze flitted down his form every few seconds. Part of him wondered... Was she interested in him?

Before he could respond, the she-cat quickly took a seat. A small smirk appeared on his face. He could hear Lionspark's heartbeat beside him. It seemed faster than normal, only adding to his suspicions. That, mixed with the tensity in her body, forced the brown tabby to test his theories. Letting out a long sigh, he leaned up against the she-cat and stretched. "Ahhh... I'm so tired. Let me lay here for a bit." Closing his eyes, he relaxed his muscles and let his breathing calm down. If he was right, she wouldn't be able to resist his charms. Perhaps he could have a little fun with this.

The tom hummed. "You're so warm..."

She opened her mouth, finally ready to say what she came here to say but all of that hard work left the instance he brushed up against her. She blushed underneath all of her fur, wanting to pull herself away but...Well, he was warm as well. Did he...? Her gaze fell to her paws as her heartbeat quickly picked up. Wh-What was she to say? It took a few moments but her feelings got the best of her as she gently returned the leaning, pressing herself into his fur as his scent washed over her. "You're rather warm yourself," she squeaked, her voice a whisper. Did Bramblefrost like her? She could have never guessed due to how cold he always seemed to be but then again - she was never expecting to like him so it wasn't out of the realm of possible. Her heart fluttered as she let out a blissful sigh, truly unable to resist his charm.
