Rosepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath... Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Rosepaw's ears perked when she had heard the call for a meeting, her assessment was just yesterday this had to be the day where she was going to be named a warrior for shadowclan! The apprentice was so eager she darted out of the den and headed towards the rock quickly sitting down and giving Thrushstar an intense look as other cats began to come towards the meeting as well.

"Tonight we gather to make this apprentice a warrior," Thrushstar said. "Rosepaw, please step forward."

Her eyes became big with excitement, she was nervous but it was finally time for her to become a warrior! Butterflies fluttered through her stomach but she toughed it out taking a big step forward. She purred happily.

"Rosepaw, do you promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as... uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?" Thrushstar asked.

Rosepaw nodded she wanted to nod a thousand times but a single nod will do. "Yes!"

"Then I hereby grant you your warrior name," he told her. "Rosepaw, from now on you will be known... as Rosefur. We welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan." With that, he leaped down to let the clan finish the ceremony.
