Fracturedhawk Is Fractured ((OPEN TO ALL - Please Join))

He couldn't feel his tail, or half of it at least.

Fracturedhawk trudged into the snow-covered RiverClan camp, a light blood trail of which was slowly starting to become less and less with each step he took. His tail was crumpled, most of the blood had dried and crusted over. It looked like it could fall off with a simple nudge. Of course though, the damage was exaggerated by the pained mind of the tom. His tail was certainly broken, but still intact thankfully.

The young warrior dropped in the center of camp, fully exhausted. All of his adrenaline had come to a stop and the walk through the thick snow drifts to get back to the camp itself had fully worn him out.

Fallowpaw was in the apprentices den, lamenting over the fact that she hadn't become a warrior yet. She longed to be with Fracturedhawk, she really did, but it seemed that all hopes of her becoming a warrior were lost. She rested her head upon her paws, and gazed out the exit of the den. She looked woefully at the snow for a while, until something caught her eye.

A long smear of scarlet blood.

She gasped, racing out. She felt the snow cause a tingle in her paws. She panted, and frantically turned on the heels of her paws. Her eyes widened with horror, when she saw the mangled tail of Fracturedhawk. Her mouth gaped, revealing a row of several sharp teeth. "No..." she murmured. "Fracturedhawk!" Fallowpaw ran worriedly over to her future mate, looking at the horrible welt in his fur. Tears began to form in her crystalline blue eyes. She felt her legs become weak.

She licked Fracturedhawk's face comfortingly. "No... no! It's going to be okay," she said. Her paws sunk into the snow as she rasped below Fracturedhawk's ear, his blood falling like a pulp to the ground.

"No!" Fallowpaw practically shrieked again, at the sight of the innocent young kit. The scene was too gruesome to look at, when you were so youthful. She furiously flicked her tail for the she-kit to go back into the nursery, her blood boiling with fear.

Shellwater ran out of the nursery at the scent of blood only to find another of her friends, Fracturedhawk, lying injured on the ground. Not again! Oh, StarClan, when will you leave RiverClan alone? She rushed over to him, face wrinkled with worry. "What happened?"

"I-I don't know," choked out Fallowpaw, looking at Shellwater with rounded, sad eyes. She pressed her fur against the queen's, her gaze downcast. She whimpered, not wanting to look at the wounds that now laced Fracturedhawk's pelt. She was slightly exaggerating, of course, but she couldn't bear to see her future mate injured like this. They were unnatural markings, she noted, not possibly made by a cat.

The wound on his tail was partially frozen over from dragging in the snow, causing numbness to encase his feelings. Thankfully his tail was the only thing that was wounded, it would have been more severe if I handed leaped for that mouse, he thought, glancing up at the sound of scurrying paw steps.

His eyes opened to the worried face of Fallowpaw, then quickly after her, Shellwater, two of his friends, Fallowpaw even more than a friend. He blinked a few times before registering what Shellwater had asked. "Tail caught... On some weird two-leg thing, it w-was really shiny and metallic." He spoke, his words shaky from the cold air and of course blood loss. "I was by the gorge, out hunting when it h-happened."

The warrior remembered how he got free, should he tell the others even after what that cat had done? He questioned himself. Maybe it would do some good around here, lift a bit of weight off our shoulders. He glanced over to Fallowpaw again, who he realized was more than upset. "I'll be alright..." He reassured, after all, it was just his tail, it couldn't kill him could it?

Sighing shakily, the she-cat decided to give Fracturedhawk some room. She stepped back, blood oozing onto the ground. "Twolegs..." she hissed, giving it some thought. "I knew it!" Fallowpaw's simplistic words emerged into a swift wail. Tears dropped seamlessly from her face, and she nearly crumpled at Fracturedhawk's damaged state.

Waterkit saw the trail of blood on the ground and squeaked. She walked closer, and saw Fracturedhawk and Fallowpaw sitting together in the clearing. Blood stained Fracturedhawk's tail.

"Fracturedhawk! Are you okay?" She raced over to Fallowpaw. "Is he okay?"

Whitestream slowly came out of the warrior´s den. She heard some noises and sad someone coming into the camp. When she steped out she saw Fracturedhawk, who was injured in some way. She looked around and saw some kits and apprentices around him. And there was also Shellwater. She quickly approached queen and silently asked: "What happened?" Then she added: "We need medicine cat! Someone must bring her."
