Making Friends [semi-open]

Swiftpaw padded out of the apprentice's den with a big yawn as he blinked the sleepiness from his eyes. It had been a little bit since his apprentice ceremony, but he hadn't started any training. It was little disappointing but he was sure that Mousefang had very good reasons, so instead, he simply waited. As the sun's final rays set over the horizon, Swiftpaw walked out and sat down in the middle of camp, ready to start a new night. However, he was feeling pretty lonely. There were a lot of apprentices, but he hadn't talked to anyone yet. When he heard a noise behind him, though, he turned to look and see who was there.

Out from the apprentices den behind him padded out a medium furred black she cat. She poked her head out from the den her ginger stripe above her nose a but more obvious then her dark pelt. Amberpaw looked at Swiftpaw her light amber eyes alit with the new night"hey there"she mewed.

Blinking at the she-cat, Swiftpaw had no idea what to say. He hadn't really talked to anyone before other than his sister and he didn't know who this apprentice was. It was obvious that she was older than he was but not by too much. "Oh, uh... Hey," he said back with a bit of a smile on his face. "I'm Swiftpaw! Who are you?" It sounded almost silly that he didn't know the name of another apprentice but this was his time to shine.

Amberpaw flicked her black tail smiling some. She didn't meet this apprentice yet then again she hadn't met the other apprentices either."Its nice to meet you Swiftpaw I'm Amberpaw"She new rd smiling some.

"Hello Amberpaw!" he purred, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws to try to get rid of the cold that enveloped his body. "What are you doing in camp? Do you have training?" he asked. It was always so weird to see apprentices in camp a lot, but his mentor hadn't done a single thing with him. He was curious if he was alone in that or not.

Amberpaw blinked and mewed"well I don't have training today as far as I know not til later I think"She newed dlooking to the slightly younger apprentice.

Blazepaw was coming back from a hunting patrol when she spotted Swiftpaw and Amberpaw talking outside of the den."Hey! How are you guys?" She yowled as she sat down beside them, curling her tail around herself, placing it neatly on her paws.

"Oh okay." For some reason, that thought never crossed his mind, doing training later on. It confused him at first but it quickly made complete sense. However, before he could think on it too long, Blazepaw padded out and joined them. All of the apprentices seemed to be moving about today. "Hello!" He mewed. "I'm... good!" Swiftpaw paused for a moment. "Actually, I'm really bored..."
