What are the duties of a medicine cat: A Medicine Cat is responsible for the health of their clan, healing without prejudice and never letting a cat stay sick or injured, whether their clanmate or not. They do their part to bridge the gap between the clan and Starclan, interpreting signs and visiting their ancestors every Half-Moon. They provide not just physical healing, but emotional support too. Medicine Cats are also an adviser to all in the clan seeking advice, and those wishing to regain lost faith in Starclan. It is their sworn duty to help any cat in need even at the cost of their own life, never to take a mate or have kits, and to stay neutral with all clans.
What you would do with this position: Stonekit will be a very loyal Medicine Cat, following his oath to the letter, sometimes growing too cozy with the other medicine cats but always remembering his loyalty. He wouldn't just be a healer, he would be a fierce opponent if forced to fight. While he'll have regrets about not becoming a warrior, he will always be happiest curing another cat and collecting herbs.
Why you think you deserve this position: I am new, yes, but I am very active and will not kill him off just for the sake of a new character. I will pretty much post in every open thread too, haha.
