Rosepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Rosepaw!" Moonmist called. "Rosepaw, where are you? I need some help!"

rosepaw dashed out of the apprentices den almost bored to death. "wacha need?" she asked.

"I need you to stand in front of me, all right? Face me." Moonmist said, amusement sparkling in here eyes. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a Clan meeting!"

rosepaw listened and did as she was told then when moonmist asked the question her eyes got big and she got shaky with exsipent.

"I, Moonmist, call upon my warrior warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in his turn," Moonmsit said smiling. "Rosepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

rosepaw made herself relax and said "i do".

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Rosepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Rosethorn. StarClan honors your loyalty and strength, and we welcome you as a full member of WindClan." Moonmist walked up to Rosepaw and touched her shoulder with her muzzle.

rosethorn licked her sholder in return.

The Clan started chanting her name, and Moonmist joined in. "Rosethorn! Rosethorn!"

rosepaw smiled happily.
