Kestrelpaw and Duskpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Ashstar leapt onto the Tallrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!"

Kestrelpaw dutifully walked out to take her place beneath the Tall Rock.

Duskpaw sat beside Kestrelpaw and waited to be made a warrior. "This is so exciting!" he whispered to the other apprentice.

Ashstar gazed down at the two apprentices. "Kestrelpaw, Duskpaw, please step forwards."

Duskpaw took a step forward just like Ashstar had said so.

Kestrelpaw took a step forward.

"I, Ashstar leader of WindClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Kestrelpaw, Duskpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do!" Duskpaw's voice rang out confidently through camp.

"I do." The apprentice said.

Ashstar smiled. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Kestrelpaw, from this moment you will be known as Kestrelcloud. StarClan honors your initiative and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan. Duskpaw, from this moment you will be known as Duskstorm. StarClan honors your bravery and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan."
