| Mistywater peaked her head out of the warriors den. She smiled as the lightning shaped sky was beginning. The colors were soft and warm, as if they were actually beginning to touch her. Today was calm, the she-cat had planned to go on a patrol but it seemed like no cat was waiting, so perhaps she would start one.
The fluffy fur from her bounced with her as she padded over to the entrance of camp. She waited quietly for a cat to appear and join her on her forming patrol. |

| Mistywater shrugged "Why not?" she mewed "Just us or maybe wait for one more cat to join?" she asked. The patrol would be short, but that's what any patrol would be like, short. She continued looking for another cat who might join as she waited for Greypaw's response. |

| Emberheart padded over, her russet and white-tipped ears flicked forward happily.
"First patrol as a warrior!" she purred, blinking at her mother warmly. "I actually managed to finish the vigil! Can I come along?"

| Sleekpaw settled himself next to the camp wall and clawed the ground impatiently, he longed to sink his claws into fresh prey, but he was still stuck in-camp. Just as he was gonna doze off, Emberheart padded up to the group if cats. "Finally! Let's go" The apprentice yowled, as he got up and walked through the entrance. |

| Sleekpaw was just coming back to his senses after 30 seconds of sleeping. A sparrow flew past his face and he didn't even try snatching it. "I wasn't ready" He said as strength came back to his body. |
