Taking A Breather [Open]

Morningfog had just gotten up from the rare warm spot on the stone. She was at the water's edge, hunting for anything she could smell. Her tail curled near her paws as she shuffled into a better position. Her white paw flashed out, splashing water along with a small fish she had scored. With a purr, she killed it and set it aside. Her hazel eyes were slightly tired, she had felt weighed down lately, not by much but it still was there. She got hungry fast and felt overheated occasionally. She brushed it off as Leafbare's tension getting to her. she's preggers again... :)

Lilacpaw had been padded along the borders, trying her best not to get caught. Once she had noticed that Morningfog was at the edge of the water that rushed through the warm rocks that once belonged to ThunderClan. She padded over and sat down "Are you ok, Morningfog?" she asked.

Morningfog twisted her head and looked at the ginger and white apprentice. "I'm fine dear, I guess I'm just a little under the weather at the moment. LeafBare seems like it's going to be harsh and it hasn't even arrived fully yet. I just wish our clans could get along." she mewed before spotting a much large back of a fish deeper in the water. "Say.. have you ever dove for fish? Most cats seem to just skim them off the shallows now..." she crouched and prepared for a dive while the fish seemed to investigate the riverbed. Then, she-cat dove in and snagged the fish in her claws before locking her jaws onto it. The warrior used her strong legs to propel herself to the surface again with what she had discovered was a trout.
