Training Makes You Better -:Closed:-

Vixenheart was glad that she had an apprentice again, ever since Featherpaw's death. She had seen potential in her former apprentice, and it was a shame that she had died how she did. However, the past was the past, and Vixenheart had Sagepaw to train now. She saw as much potential in her new apprentice as she did in Featherpaw, but it was time to find out what the first day of training would be like. The deputy poked her head into the apprentices' den, spotting Sagepaw immediately.
"Sagepaw," She began, whispering softly so the other apprentices wouldn't wake up, "It's time for training, c'mon."

"Huh?" Sagepaw blinked as he sleepily opened his eyes, before his ears perked up. "Training? Cool!" The tom scrambled to his paws, quickly opening giving himself a lick before returning his gaze to Vixenheart, grinning sheepishly.

Vixenheart nodded at the tom, turning and heading towards the camp exit. She glanced over her ginger shoulder to speak to Sagepaw, "We'll start with hunting today. Along the way, you'll be able to see the territory. If you do well, we can move on to climbing trees."
The ginger-and-white she-cat then looked ahead as she left camp with her apprentice behind her, into the territory.

Sagepaw nodded. "I'm looking forward to hunting," he added. I hope I don't mess this up! He trailed behind Vixenheart into the tree-filled territory.

(gaah, short post, sorry. Complete lack of muse today.)

"Good, because it's fun to learn." Vixenheart said to her apprentice. She enjoyed Sagepaw's enthusiasm and eagerness. Eventually, the two reached the spot that Vixenheart had planned to hunt in. She stopped, and the turned around to look at Sagepaw with a soft smile on her muzzle, "Okay, the first step of learning how to hunt is posture. Why don't you try the hunting crouch?"
After Sagepaw were to try, Vixenheart was going to critique his form.
