It wasn't unknown that Blindkit was not a fan of her name. Even so young, she found it insulting that so many leaders and parents found it okay to name an individual after their deformities. It wasn't as if the name wasn't fitting; in fact, it was too fitting. The alabaster kitten had been born with a lame eye, and still did not know how to venture about without having a major weakness on her left side. Though stunning in color, her left eye was completely useless.

It was because of this that she chose to stay near the nursery, too afraid to move outside of its surrounding area. She was not close to anyone in the Clan yet, seeing as she had not made any effort to speak to anyone. It was almost as if she was mute, though she knew exactly how to speak. Blindkit watched the bustle of the Clan from afar, gaze narrowed at the busy cats. What could they all be doing? She watched an NPC leaving the camp through the tunnel that marked their entrance and immediately wondered what could be beyond the warm, ThunderClan-scented camp.

Grasskit noticed her denmate staring out of the den entrance and bounded over to join. Her green eyes widened at the activity happening outside. Her eyes shifted to the other kit and she mewed, "Wanna check it out? I'm sick of being stuck in this stuffy den". She shook bits of moss bedding from her white and grey pelt as she waited for a reply.
