Icekit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" Fishstar yowled from atop her perch.

OOC: Sorry about that somehow it didn't alert me.

Icekit was bristling with excitement , she was going to be an apprentice. Icekit's piercing blue eyes gazed up at Fishstar as she ran over to the front of the crowd to sit at the front. She was happy that she got to go out of camp but what she wanted to know the most was who was going to be her mentor.

"Icekit, please step forward," said the leader.

Ivyfall watched from the side as her adopted kit, Icekit was to become an apprentice after all those moons of rearing. She wished the she-kit luck silently, and prayed StarClan would guide her. Stay safe, that was her only wish.

Icekit moved forward and waited for further instructions she looked to Ivyfall her mother as she was about to explode with happiness her only thought now was if she was good enough.

Ugh why is my apprentice ceremony taking so long. Do I have permission to call Icekit, Icepaw?
And hurry up and tell me my mentor! I think you forgot about my poor bby.

"You have reached the age of six moons, are now ready to be an apprenticed. From this day forth, you shall be known as Icepaw, and your mentor shall be Briarfoot. May he pass all of his skills and wit into you." With that, she leaped down from her perch and joined the Clan is chanting the new apprentice's name.

Icepaw touched noses with her new mentor and took in the chants of the crowd.
