Breezepaw's Warrior Ceremony

This would be the first warrior ceremony that Vixenheart would be conducting. She leaped onto the Tall Branch, then called out the words that she had said and heard before, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the Tall Branch for a Clan meeting!"

Breezepaw padded out of the apprentices' den, ready to get his warrior name. He was disappointed to see Vixenheart on the Tallbranch, but shrugged it off. He wouldn't let his father, or his absence, ruin this moment.

When spotting Breezepaw in the group of gathered cats, she carried the ceremony on, "We're gathered here today to make this apprentice into a warrior. Breezepaw, please step forwards." The ginger-and-white deputy said to the tom below.

The gray tabby tom nodded and stepped up obligingly.

"I, Vixenheart, deputy of SkyClan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in turn. Breezepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Vixenheart asked the apprentice.

"I do," Breezepaw affirmed solemnly.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Breezepaw, from this moment, you will be known as Breezewhisker. StarClan honors your loyalty and attentiveness." Vixenheart then leaped down from the Tallbranch, resting her muzzle on top of the new warrior's head.

Breezewhisker's pride swelled in his chest as the deputy rested her muzzle on his head. So what if his father wasn't there? He was gonna be a great warrior anyways.
