That One Swift Kit [CLOSED]

Swiftkit poked her gray head out of the nursery, looking around at the SkyClan camp. She took a small bound forwards, emerging from the nursery and into the clearing. She was small compared to the other warriors and apprentices, but she didn't care. She'd be as tall as them all one day! She raced over to the fresh-kill pile, wanting to have a mouse this morning. Unfortunately, the only one there was hidden at the very bottom. She saw it's small tail poking out from the pile, but she just had to get it. She began pulling on the tail with all the strength she had, which wasn't much for a kit.
"Stupid mouse! Come on out!" Swiftkit growled, her voice muffled due to the tail in her mouth.

Vixenheart padded back into the camp, her amber eyes bright and a cheerful smile on her muzzle. The deputy carried a mouse and a vole in her jaws, as she had just come back from a solo hunting trip. She gave a small nod to every cat that she passed. The ginger-and-white she-cat was in a good mood today. She headed over to the fresh-kill pile, deciding to get a some prey to give to the elders and the queens, considering that most of the apprentices were carrying out other duties, but as she approached the pile, she saw a small bundle of dark gray fur. Vixenheart purred, recognizing Swiftkit. She hadn't gotten to formally introduce herself to the kit, but she had seen her play-fighting before and had grown fond of the little one. She crouched down beside Swiftkit, nudging her gently with her muzzle.
"Maybe it would be easier if I give you the mouse I just caught." She purred, gently.

Swiftkit had no clue that a cat had approached her until she heard a voice. She quickly turned around, only to see the ginger-and-white she-cat, Vixenheart. Her eyes then lit up with obvious excitement. It was the deputy!
Wow! The deputy is talking to me! She thought, happily.
She quickly tried to compose herself, but that failed because she kept flicking her tail with excitement, and her eyes still gave away every positive emotion that she felt.
"Thanks!" She said, looking at the mouse that Vixenheart had caught.

"You're Swiftkit aren't you?" Vixenheart asked, still crouched down to the kit's size. She could notice the kit's obvious enthusiasm and she couldn't help but purr. She admired this kit's energetic spirit, and Vixenheart couldn't help but compare it to how timid and quiet she had been when she was a kit.
"I can already tell that you're going to make an excellent apprentice." Vixenheart complimented, already predicting what Swiftkit's response would be.
