Falconpaw padded along the SkyClan border, stopping now and then to mark his scent. The young tom soon reached Highpine, and he clambered on one of the low branches, taking a break from his solo patrol. The apprentice gazed intently towards the territory, then slipped down from the tree and marked his scent around the pine, deeming it as ShadowClan's snorting in disgust to the scent of SkyClan floating around it as well.
