Gingerkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Vixenheart leaped up onto the Tall Branch. This would be another apprentice ceremony. The deputy was glad that SkyClan was gaining new apprentices and kits.
"Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the Tall Branch for a Clan meeting!" She called.

The ginger kitten gracefully padded out of the nursery, seeming to fly rather than walk. Her pawsteps were so light and soft, and her movements were gentle and elegant. Gingerkit, as she was named, quietly made her way to the front of the crowd of cats. Her off-white fur was a shade that could be called cream, and made her pelt look beautifully pale. On her face, a ginger stripe ran from her forehead down to her nose and spreaded across the top of her muzzle and covered her ears. The she-cat's bright blue eyes stood out well against her light-colored fur, and she was just dazzling to look at. With a soft, silent smile, Gingerkit sat down and wrapped her fluffy tail around her paws.

Vixenheart looked down at Gingerkit, smiling as well.
"Gingerkit, please step forwards." She said to the kit below her.

Gingerkit's sparkling blue gaze trailed up to the deputy as her name was called. Obediently, the kit stood up and stepped forward, toward the Tall Branch.

"Today, we gather to make this kit an apprentice. Gingerkit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprentice. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Gingerpaw. Your mentor will be Ghostpelt. May she pass down all of her knowledge to you." Vixenheart said. The ginger and white she-cat then leaped down off of the Tall Branch in order to end the ceremony.

Breezepaw watched in interest as Gingerpaw received her name. She looked like an interesting she-cat.
