Morningpaw, Stormpaw, and Blazingpaw's Warrior Ceremony

The first warrior ceremony held by her, in camp, was about to occur. Darkstar emerged from her den under the rock and twisted to jump on top of it, still a bit unsteady due to her missing limb. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!" Three apprentices were to be made warriors, and she could only hope that there were more to come.

Mistywater walked out from the nursery and padded over to the Highrock, sitting down and curling her fluffy tail around herself then to look up at Darkstar.

Morningpaw padded out of the apprentices' den, her pelt was well groomed and her blue eyes were sparkling with excitement. She took her time getting to the Highrock so that none of her fur was ruffled or messed up. She sat down with the rest of her Clanmates, a joyful grin on her muzzle. She knew this was her warrior ceremony, she wondered all the while what her warrior name would be. Morninglight? Morningshine? She'd just have to wait and find out.

Stormpaw was out right after Morningpaw. He made no delay, he was more than excited to get his warrior name. He raced over to the Highrock, having a seat at the front of the crowd beside Morningpaw. The tip of his gray tail was twitching back and forth as he tried to hold in his eagerness. He'd finally be able to train his own apprentice, and lead his own patrols, and have a lot more freedom than apprentices would! He shot Morningpaw a smile before looking back up at Nightstar.

(Could Stormstrike be his warrior name, please?)

Scorchfrost sat by Mistywate with a proud grin on his face, watching Stormpaw and Morningpaw. Their mother would be proud of them today.

Blazingpaw padded out of the apprentice's den, his red tabby fur glowing like flames in the bright sunlight. He joined his clan under the Highrock, amber eyes focusing on the rightful leader, Darkstar.

Frozenflame joined the clan and sat in the deputy's spot. Three new warriors were to be added today, and a smile fixed itself upon his muzzle.

Cloverpool padded over and gently flicked her son with her tail as he padded past her giving him a wink.

Blackpaw padded up to sit next to his mother, a smile growing wide on his face. "Good luck to you, all of you." The younger, sable-furred cat whispered, his voice thick with pride. He caught the excitement swiftly in Darkstar's eyes. Blackpaw then lay down, dampened grass blades caressing his pelt. He nodded his head to the elderly apprentices. He smiled with comfort when Morningpaw and Stormpaw came into view. Blackpaw was simply unaware that, Blazingpaw was the very son of Cloverpool, until now. There was something divergent in the way that Blazingpaw held his head, and it struck Blackpaw that he may be the kin of Cloverpool, even before her encouragement. Blackpaw abruptly hindered. Who was the other cat?

Blackpaw's gaze followed their shapes as the light cast across them peacefully. Things were back to customary standards. Blackpaw mentally wondered if this ceremony had been delayed due to the Dark Forest's deceitful rule. Nonetheless, Blackpaw watched them with uninhibited respect. The way their paws danced across the mossy ground, Blackpaw would follow in the future. Such tranquility and grace, Blackpaw wished he could have. He was simply learning, soon StarClan would allow that very nimbleness and grace to touch him, in turn.

Morningpaw caught her brother's smile, but then she frowned. She began licking at her brother's fur.
"You look like you just came out of a nettle bush." She said between licks, her fluffy tail laid out straight behind her. When she was finally satisfied, she stopped licking, promptly nodded, then turned her head to look at Blackpaw with a smile. She knew that he had the capability to be a great warrior, and it would happen soon enough. She then lifted her head to look up at Darkstar again. There was absolutely no worry or nervousness in her heart or mind.

Pinepaw came to stand in the crowd of gathered cats, a smug look on his face. He tried to avoid his deputy and sister as he listened to the cats speaking around him with his head bowed.

Stormpaw flinched when Morningpaw began grooming him. He looked at her, shaking his head, "You fuss over everything." He said with an amusing tone. When she finally stopped, he sighed in relief and let his gaze travel up back towards Darkstar.

"It is time for three apprentices to be made warriors. Morningpaw, Stormpaw, and Blazingpaw, please step forward." When they did, she continued, looking to each of them. "I, Darkstar, Leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in turn. Morningpaw, Stormpaw, and Blazingpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." Morningpaw said, cheerfully, with a confident smile.

Stormpaw slowly nodded, before responding, "I do."

"I do," Blazingpaw purred with the others as the leader called upon them.
