An Outcast Rejected

Wolfkit opened an eye, hope glimmering in its depths. As she padded out of the nursery, she received a big surprise. Cold, speculating eyes turned toward her, and she felt herself shrink further toward the ground. Her hope disappeared slowly, and she was curious as to why all of the cats were treating her this way. Her eyes widened when one cat spoke up, fixing her with a strong gaze. The kit stumbled a few steps backward, listening carefully to what the cat had to say.
