A leaf flutters in the wind, but holds strong to the branch [Open]

Leafkit tumbled from the nursery on clumsy paws; the young she-cat was only a few moons old, and quite clumsy. Even more so than a normal kit of her age, but she either didn't notice, or didn't care. No one really pointed it out, so the former seemed likely. Despite her clumsiness, she loved to play-- she loved playing games with the other kits. When they play-fought, it always seemed to end up with Leafkit getting scared or hurt (or at least, she claimed to be hurt, but a visit to the medicine den revealed no injuries). But the next day, Leafkit would be back at it again. When they played catch with moss-balls, Leafkit was completely rubbish at both the throwing and the catching, but seemed to have a great deal of fun, nonetheless.
At that moment, Leafkit was lying down, enjoying the sun and the fresh-air outside of the nursery, wondering if she ought to ask anyone to play with her. Sometimes, the other kits didn't want her to play, but she didn't really understand why. In that case, she would usually play by herself or see if any apprentices wanted to play.

Hawkkit had been around the nursery for a few moons, but he's still growing to become a strong apprentice in a few more moons. The tom spotted Leafkit outside, bathing in the sunlight. He sometimes noticed Leafkit's fear of getting hurt, as Hawkkit saw that as a sign of weakness. Nonetheless, he believed that the she-kit had some potential in her. "Hello," he mewed as he approached the kit, "I'm Hawkkit!" As Hawkkit's tail raised playfully, he crouched into the warm grass as he eyed Leafkit's tail, ready to pounce if Leafkit was in the mood for playing.

Leafkit turned to look at him with a bit of a blank stare when he introduced himself. The words seemed to process slowly in her brain. Hawkkit... That sounds like my name. Leafkit. Hawkkit. Oh! "Your name is Hawkkit!" She mewed as understanding dawned in her eyes, "Do you want to play with me, Hawkkit?"

Sunkit padded up to Leafkit shyly. "Hello..." he mewed. "I'm Sunkit."

Streampaw stretched out in the sunlight , it's golden rays beaming on her blue-gray pelt and changing it to a sandy-gray-blue color that sparkled and shined. "Hello , Leafkit! Do you wanna play moss ball?"she meowed in a lovely voice with a sharp edge to it. Stream paw was a muscular she-cat but was looking thinner then she had ever  been and was having a hard time facing her clans insults. She prayed to StarClan that these kits won't know of her family's  past. "So , have you ever eaten actual prey?" She asked. "Oh , and hi Hawkkit and Sunkit!"She meowed.
