Nothing Suspicious Here, Folks! [Closed for Rainpaw]

(( Okay xD I was like 'Nuuuu don't die Frostedkit ;.;' xD ))

Rainpaw released his hold on the badger as it started quickly running towards Frostedkit, but he gave chase. It was running towards the Thunderpath... Surely, though, after seeing the terrifying monster race by not too long ago, Frostedkit wouldn't venture too close. She would know better. Perhaps, he reasoned, she was trying to lead it away from their territory and towards what used to be Thunderclan's...?

While Frostedkit had been finding something to throw at the badger, she had also found an old abandoned fox den that was under a bush close to the Thunderpath. The badger was so busy giving chase, it wouldn't be able to turn quick enough to catch her. She sped up, the Thunderpath coming closer and closer. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a bright blue monster coming up on the Thunderpath.
Yes! She thought happily.
She neared the Thunderpath, the badger still behind her. The fox den was coming up too.
Now!
She made a sharp turn, and plunged into the abandoned fox den. The badger was too clumsy to turn, and it lumbered right onto the Thunderpath trying to stop itself...

Rainpaw's eyes were wide with terror as the thunderpath came closer and closer, and it seemed increasingly likely that Frostedkit was going to run right onto it. When the badger was struck by the monster, he came to a skidding halt, looking back and forth across the thunderpath. The badger's body was there, but Frostedkit was nowhere to be seen. He hadn't seen where she disappeared to... Then, he noticed the fox den. "Frostedkit, are you in there?" He mewed loudly, "The badger is dead, you can come out!"

Frostedkit poked her little white, black, and gray head out of the fox den, dirt covered her pelt. She padded out.
"My plan worked?" She asked as she shook the dirt from her fur. She saw the badger's dead corpse on the Thunderpath, blood leaked out of it on many different sides, and it's eyes were glazed over with a glossy white hue of death.
She leapt up and down with excitement, "It worked! It worked! It worked!" She cheered.
She then stopped, wanting to give Rainpaw some credit, "But you literally risked your life clawing at it..." She said to him quietly.
Frostedkit was exhausted from running, and her paws felt like they were going to fall off. That had been so much for a small kit. Her heart was pounding in her chest, it felt like it was going to burst any second, and she was breathing so incredibly hard...

Rainpaw could see that, even though she was excited, Frostedkit was exhausted. "Well, I wasn't just going to let it get you, silly." He purred, shaking his head, "I'm just glad both of us are okay. We should head back to camp now, don't you think?" After all, the last thing they needed was something else bad to happen. Especially since Frostedkit was so exhausted... She wasn't fit to put up another fight, and frankly, Rainpaw wasn't either. His claws felt sore from continually clawing at the badger, and though his breathing was evening out, his heart was still pounding from the run. "Come on, can you walk alright?" He asked, getting to his paws and looking at Frostedkit to make sure she was fine to walk back to camp.

"I'm fine," She replied, "Let's sneak back in through the dirtplace...I don't feel like getting caught and having my apprenticeship delayed. I want to be an apprentice too, so if another badger comes, I could actually fight it the next time!" She finished.
She blinked, tilting her head, "Well, hopefully there's not a next time for a badger attack...but still." She said, smiling.
