Good grump is meeting some friends! [Open for anyone in RC]

Toadkit looked grumpy as usual as he exited the nursery, he always had to be in there! By now he had only met his mother and a she-kit who was named Oakkit, was there anyone else to meet out in RiverClan camp?

Clearkit was bored-- and that was saying something! The strange little kit never had a hard time finding stimulation, even confined to the Riverclan camp. But today, the sky was pure blue and cloudless, no leaves blew through camp, and he was tired of only being able to watch the river through the reeds without being able to properly see it. So, he was walking around camp, his round eyes scanning around, too drawn to the movement of other cats to stay focused on one spot. "Oh, hi, Toadkit." He mewed in his soft, dreamy voice when he saw his litter-mate, "Up to anything today?"

Toadkit bared his teeth "What do you think, I'm some brain-master?" he retorted.

Clearkit was a bit taken aback by Toadkit's aggressiveness, but he was getting used to it. "Well, if you're not doing anything, I have an idea." He mewed, an idea suddenly taking form in his mind, "Let's slip out of camp, I wanna see the river." Now, Clearkit wasn't sure if they could swim across the river-- he didn't know how swift the current was, or how deep it was. But even if they couldn't swim, they could skirt the very edge of camp, where they would be able to see the river but be hidden by the bushes.

Toadkit looked around, he really didn't have anything to do did he? He sighed "Fine" he murmured "But we have to make sure no warriors see us, I don't want to be held back on becoming an apprentice" he mewed, this time he wasn't being as aggressive but there was still some in his voice, he began to sneak into the bushes and sneak through Dirtplace to get to the river.

Clearkit followed, a bit surprised, but happy nonetheless, that Toadkit wanted to go with him. He gave a nod, and silently followed after Toadkit to sneak out. Cats were used to seeing Clearkit wandering about, and a lot of the warriors had taken to ignoring him, because he was always doing something strange. So, it was easy for him to go unnoticed. Once through the bushes, they were on the very edge of the island that was Riverclan's camp, and the river flowed just in front of their paws. Clearkit looked delighted, and immediately crouched down to peer into the shifting, intricate depths of the water. "It's so pretty." He mewed, keeping his eyes fixed on the water in case a fish swam by.
