Ants can lift twice their weight.

Antkit trotted proudly out of the SkyClan nursery. Although most kits acted high and mighty, some might say being Crowstar's son got a bit to his head. Fluffing out his fur, the small black cat looked around for anything to tackle. Instead of finding something to pounce on, Antkit made his way over to a line of marching bugs. Are those ants? He wondered, tilting his head. The tom laid down, resting his muzzle on the ground, hoping to get a better look at the tiny creatures.

Jaypaw scented a kit, padding over he sat down next to him "What're you looking at?" he mewed

Noticing a cat come over, Antkit looked up to the apprentice and back down at the bugs. "Ants." He meowed solemnly, tail lashing back and forth. It seemed like ants could walk forever, always in a perfect line and Antkit wondered why that was.

Jaypaw nodded "Cool, I'm Jaypaw" he looked at the ants "hat do these ant look like?" he mewed moving his head clover to the ants.

"They look like black dots with legs. Pretty cool, right?" Pebblethorn, the deputy, said as she padded over. The calm and placid she-cat smiled at the two. She nodded to Jaypaw, a greeting of respect. "What is your name, young one?" The older she-cat asked Antkit, calm demeanor hoping to let him be calm around her.

Looking up to the apprentice, he gave a blank face. "What do you mean "what do they look like? Can't you see them?" He meowed flatly. The kit didn't mean to be rude but didn't really know otherwise. Suddenly a bit bored from watching the ants, he sat up and licked his chest fur. Looking up, his eyes fell upon a gorgeous she cat. "Uh... A-Antkit." He stuttered. Antkit was never one to fumble with words, but in that moment, a warm fuzzy feeling came over him. Idiot! Now you look stupid. Internally he hissed at himself.

Jaypaw looked down "I'm blind" he murmured "Hey Pebblethorn" he looked up at her "What are you doing here?" he asked his whiskers twitching.

She giggled. "Well, I see why you like the ants then, Antkit." She purred with a smile adorning her face. "That is a nice name, though. Yes, greetings Jaypaw." She mewed, sitting down.

Jaypaw groomed his fur and sneezed "Luckily leaf-bare is gone" he mewed

"Thanks." He meowed to Pebblethorn with a smile. She likes my name? The small black cat sat up straight and proudly puffed out his chest fur. Looking to Jaypaw, his smile turned to a small frown. "Sorry." He meowed solemnly, turning back to Pebblethorn. "You're the deputy, right?"

"NO ONE SHALL FEEL SORRY FOR THE GREAT JAYPAW OF SKYCLAN! HEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS A MAN. NO ONE SHALL DESTURB HIS PEACE FROM ALL OF YOUR FACES WHICH LOOK LIKE NOTHING TO MEEEEEEE" HE YOWLED Jaypaw shook his head "There's no need, I'm just like you. You have a nose and I do too. So I use it" he reminded Antkit.

Pebblethorn nodded respectfully. "You're welcome." She purred. She watched as Antkit apologized to Jaypaw, and he responded with a polite yet lengthy explanation as to why he was wrong. She blinked, and listened as Antkit asked her about her position. "Mhm. Picked by your father himself." She mewed.

"Wow!" The kit exclaimed. "That must be so cool!" He meowed, starting to get excited.

Ghostpelt poked her head out of the warriors den and padded over to her younger brother, she was the oldest kit of Crowstar but she hadn't met her younger sibling(s) yet. The fluffy silver tabby smiled and sat down. "Hello Antkit. It's nice to finally meet my youngest brother. I'm Ghostpelt your oldest sister." The usually quiet she cat meowed dipping her head in respect to Pebblethorn.

Hearing another voice, he turned his head from Pebblethorn to another she cat that had arrived. "Another sister?" Both of his sisters where equally as beautiful and the young tom was loving all this attention. "Nice to meet you." He replied coolly, giving his chest fur a lick. "It's nice to meet my sisters." Antkit added with a smile, looking from sister to sister.
