Viperpaw and Tigerpaw's Warrior Ceremonies

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Tigerpaw walked, slowly and confidently, to the clearing. Her striped pelt was neatly groomed in place. Her mother didn't need to do that for her, she had managed it all herself. She was thinking of how proud a certain tom would be to hear of her warrior ceremony. She wondered vaguely what her name would be, then turned her attention to her grave leader.

Eaglefeather padded out of the warriors den, she looked up at the Jaggedrock flicking her tail.

Webtail out of the warrior's den, watching his sister stride proudly to Jaggedrock. He also had a cat he couldn't wait to give the news, his mentor by night, Smokestorm. Surely he'd be happy to know that Webtail and his siblings were warriors, more power for ShadowClan. The tom would have to wait for nightfall for that.

Viperpaw padded into the center of the clearing from the apprentice's den. She took her place next to her sister and looked up to Thrushstar, eyes glowing with satisfaction and impatience. Its finally my time! she thought.

Shimmerheart purred at her kits, finally being warriors. She felt another pang for Shrewkit, but shook it off. She watched from a distance, smiling.

"Tonight we gather to make these apprentices warriors," Thrushstar said. "Viperpaw, Tigerpaw. Please step forward."

Viperpaw stepped forward and swished her tail once as she kept her sight on Thrushstar.

OOC: okay whatever. I'm gonna move this forward. Warrior names??

"Do you two promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?" Thrushstar asked, his eyes locked onto the apprentices below.

OOC: Viperfang, please!

IC: "I do!" Viperpaw mewed with absolute confidence.

OOC: Sorry D; Tigerstorm please~

IC: Tigerpaw stepped forward at the command of her leader. Her tail tip was twitching, a result of her restraining her excitement as best as she could. "I do." She answered with Viperpaw, pleased to be having her warrior ceremony with her sister at her side.

Leopardfang watched from the edge of the crowd. His two apprentices were becoming warriors, and they were both his daughters. This night marked the end of his kits' young life and the beginning of their adult lives, and he wondered what his role would be in their futures besides deputy and then leader. He looked across the clearing and made eye contact with Shimmerheart, allowing a little smile through his cool exterior.

Shimmerheart smiled back at her mate. Moons and moons ago, she never would have dreamed of sitting here, having the deputy (and strongest warrior) as her mate, watching her kits become warriors. But here she was. She returned her attention to Thrushstar, silently thanking Gingerheart of StarClan for setting her on the right path. She wouldn't trade what she had now for anything.

"Then by the powers of Starclan, I grant you your warrior names," he said. "Viperpaw, from now on you will be known as Viperfang. Tigerpaw, you will be known as Tigerstorm. We welcome you all full warriors of Shadowclan." It was a quick and painless ceremony. Saying nothing more, the leader leaped down to let the clan finish the ceremony.

"Viperfang! Tigerstorm!" Shimmerheart yowled her daughter s' names proudly.

"Viperfang, Tigerstorm congratulations!" Amberclaw decided to chant as well, despite his slightly hostile personality he did like to acknowledge achievements.
