RC vs. Ryestep (closed until after death)

Ryestep knew the dangers of Sunningrocks, but he had to be there anyway, to relax on the warm rocvks, to sort out his feelings for Saltpelt versus his feelings for Thinstripe, who he suspected was pregnant with his kits. Little did he know... Someone was watching.

Ivyfall had noticed the tom on one of her many patrols of the river, she liked to look out in the forest where she'd grown up. To gaze at the canopy that she'd never walk beneath again. He'd caught her attention, Ryestep, a warrior who was clearly younger than her. He had a wistful look about him as he relaxed on Sunningrocks. There was something about how comfortable he looked on land that both her maternal clan has lost blood and her father have spilt blood over which set her teeth on edge. She would do to him what she'd done to other ThunderClan warriors who'd strayed too far from the forest.

She wasn't alone either, a glance over to her side confirmed her brother was with her. Together they'd bring down that tom, they'd punish the forest-dwellers. They would remind ThunderClan, there was a debt to be paid.

Ivyfall's irritation was mimicked by her brother, Rainstorm. The inseparable pair often found themselves watching the forest move and breath, filling them with nostalgia, grief, and rage. ThunderClan had been their home. They were happy, they were joyful, they were exiled. The ridiculous rules set in place by their ancestors, The Code, forbid them from living with their clan - their family. The siblings' father, although labelled a traitor, was a respectable, honourable tom who did not deserve the treatment his clan gave him. At least, that's what Rainstorm believed until he was dropped on RiverClan's lap and abandoned by his so-called father.

There was no forgiveness left in the brown warrior's heart. Not for ThunderClan, nor his father. He would make them pay for their cruelty, through any means necessary.

The young, brown warrior resisted the urge to lunge into the waters and pull the other tom down until he couldn't breath. Gritting his fangs, he dug his claws into the grass in frustration. The way Ryestep relaxed on the Sunningrocks, his clan's rightful territory, caused Rainstorm to growl quietly. His chest rumbled with his growl as he bared his fangs. His yellow-green eyes flitted over to Ivyfall, looking for corroboration that they would ambush the forest-dweller.

Ryestep had fallen asleep, his dreams troubled. Saltpelt and Thinstripe both stood on opposite sides of Fourtrees, a litter of kits in front of them. Saltpelt's were white and brown, Thinstripe's were brown and silver tabbies. Each she-cat called out to him as their mate. The kits all called him father. Somehow he knew what each mother would name their kits: Saltpelt's were Frostkit, Oatkit and Treekit; Thinstripe's, Moonkit, Cedarkit and Poppykit. He looked from side to side, distressed, but before he could go to either family he was awakened.

Ivyfall nodded silently, consenting to them murdering another ThunderClan warrior yet again. It was his fault really, lounging on Sunningrocks, a heavily contested piece of territory. So typical ThunderClan behaviour, they walked as if they were some great paragons of virtue, haughty, proud, and untouchable. They'd cast aside her and her siblings when they were just as tainted. Spottedstar's daughter apparently laid with a rogue stray they'd just picked up and bore him kits. Hypocrites.

Her silver ears pricked, she crept out of the reeds while listening for any rustling in the bushes to warn them of ThunderClan. A skill from her time in the forest that she wouldn't forget. She crossed the river with a few agile flicks of her paws in the icy waters, her tail swaying side to side like a rudder.

Just as he woke up, the she-cat leap on top of him. Pinning him in place, and flicking with her tail for her brother to hurry up and join her.

Rainstorm watched in amusement as his sister skillfully made her way across the river. This tom would be mince meat by the time the siblings were done with him. Ivyfall quickly took the opportunity to pounce on the tom who had just woken up, and gestured for Rainstorm to follow her example.

The brown warrior slunk into the waters, hissing at the sharp bite of the cold. Like the she-cat, he quickly cross the river and pulled himself onto the rocks. While Ivyfall had the tom pinned, he swerved around to Ryestep's face, smiling down at him with a sadistic smile.

"Hello. Sorry to bother you. We just couldn't stand seeing you enjoying yourself over here, so we came to join." His voice was filled with malice and humour. Swiftly sliding his claws out, he swiped his paw across the ThunderClan cat's face. "Oops. My paw slipped." The cat's blood dripped off of Rainstorm's claws onto the rocks. The brown tom clicked his tongue a few times and shook his head.

"Now my paws are dirty. Look what you did," he growled, his voice still holding a somewhat playful tone.

Ryestep hissed in surprise. "RiverClan, " he growled, shaking blood out of his eyes and lunging for the tom. 'Keep your fishy paws on your own side of the border!" He scratched at the tom's belly with his claws.

That wouldn't do, the tom was trying to hurt her brother. Ivyfall sunk her claws into the tom's back and raked down to score long, red lines in his pelt for his misjudgement as her jaws clamped around his neck shaking the tom roughly before unclenching to let him drop. She wasn't quite as talkative as her brother, but the silver she-cat made up for it in sheer brutality. "Anything you do to my brother, I'll return the favour threefold." She hissed in his ear. Muzzle and paws coated in blood now, she leapt off Ryestep and stood towards the forest. Rainstorm could have fun with him, she would be there to make sure the ThunderClan tom couldn't do something foolish like run back into the woods to get friends.

Ryestep gasped in pain- there was two of them? "Please," he moaned in agony, blood running down his face. "I have a mate... She'll have kits soon..."
