Flashkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Sablestar sat atop the Tallrock, gazing down at her Clan. "Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" She waited, her gaze scanning the clearing for the kitten.

Flashkit padded over to the clearing, his ginger fur groomed over neatly. The tom looked up at Sablestar with bright green eyes. He could hardly contain his excitement!

"Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Sablestar began. "Flashkit, from tonight until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Flashpaw. Your mentor will be Spiderfur. May she teach you everything she knows." Sablestar hopped down from the Tallrock and joined in the chanting.

Flashkit looked up and searched the crowd, looking for his new mentor.
