Gentlekit clawed her way on to Thinpaw's back, trying her best not ti hurt the apprentice. Nethertheless, she still and to dig her claws in a little to stay on. "What's this for?" she asked curiously. She could walk on her own, so it must be fore something more exciting! Could they be crossing a river...? Or maybe even... Climbing a tree! Gentlepaw jittered with excitement, hardly able to contain herself. ______________________________________ Characters:

| Gentlekit looked down, watching as the ground got farther and farther away. She shoved her face into Thinpaw's fur and clung on for dear life, afraid of what might happen if she fell. The kit felt Thinpaw's muscles work underneath her, and she felt a wave of sickness. They were so high up... And it didn't feel right to cling to Thinpaw like this... One wrong move on the apprentice's part, and they'd both come crashing down. Gentlekit wished she knew how to climb, that way she didn't have to worry about someone else's mistakes, only her own.
Gentlekit let out a sigh, relieved when Thinpaw finally stopped. She detached herself from the apprentice, carefully settling on the branch and digging her tiny claws into it. At Thinpaw's suggestion, she peered though the barren branches, searching for the camp. "Woah..." she was awestruck when she finally spotted it. "Every cat is so small..." she was right, the cats in the clearing appeared as little bugs scuttling around. Gentle wasn't near as afraid of falling now that they had stopped and she was on her own four paws again. The view was so spectacular this high, that the kit was positively astonished. ______________________________________ Characters:

| "I'm not scared!" Gentlekit retorted. She was only half lying, she wasn't scared anymore! But Gentlekit had been very scared when they were climbing up the tree. "Will you really teach me how to climb? Really really?" she was bubbling with excitement. Climbing was so cool! Was Thinpaw really going to teach her how? And before she was an apprentice even! | Gentlekit nodded, watching Thinpaw descend. Once she had worked up the nerve, the kit scooted over to the trunk and slowly situated herself so that her rear was facing the ground. She slowly started making her way down, making sure her claws were always hooked firmly in the bark. Gentlekit slipped a few times, but always managed to regain her footing. When she was a few fox lengths from the ground, she lost her footing again and fell to the ground, landing on her rump with small oof. Looking a Thinpaw, Gentlekit got up slowly. "I'm alright!" she mewed, bounding to the apprentice with a grin. ______________________________________ Characters:
