| Gentlekit wandered from the nursery, more bored than ever. None of her litter-mates would ever play with her, and Thinpaw was always training. What was so fun about training? Gentlekit grew more and more curious the more she thought about what went on outside of camp. After a while of absent-mindedly wandering, the she-kit found herself standing in front of the camp entrance. Curiosity of the unknown threatened to overtake her sense of logic and reasoning. Peering into the mix of shadows and light that was the forest, it seemed giant and endless, to Gentlekit at least. Awe overtook her, and she set foot outside the camp...

| Thinpaw walked into camp looking around and sat down near one of the trees grooming herself then looking at the kit in the nursery, it was Gentlekit once again. She flicked her tail in a way of saying to come over |
