Pinefur sat beside the prey pile. He decided that he should take hawkpaw hunting or something. Pinefur padded over to the apprentices den "Hawkpaw I'm going to take you on a hunting patrol. Bring a friend or two!" he called inside and waited for his apprentice to walk out.

Hawkpaw looked up from grooming his fur when someone called his name. He listened to what Pinefur said and nodded his head. He stood up and stretched his back, while asking "Who wants to come with me and Pinefur on a patrol?"
