A Quiet Conversation (Closed for Fracturedpaw and Tallpaw)

Elkpaw was still waiting of the brim of the Fourtrees clearing, still scanning the area for Cobraeyes. The longer he looked and waited, the more disappointment and sadness stirred inside of him.

Cobraeyes looked for Elkpaw. She smiled a tad bit seeing the tom and the golden B spotted Bengal she cat padded over quietly " Hey " she mewed.

He finally noticed Cobraeyes, at the exact moment she noticed him. Elkpaw saw her trotting up to him, so he waited for her with a loud purr bellowing in his throat. "Hello!" he said with maybe a bit too much enthusiasm. He didn't want anybody else to know that he was looking forward to meeting her again. But he couldn't help himself, the way she was, who wouldn't be happy to meet her. "How are things in Thunderclan?" he prompted after a few seconds of awkward silence.

Cobraeyes smiled some happily a small purr rum Ling in her throat " Thunderclan is doing well " She mewed."how is Skyclan holding up?"She asked smiling some.

It was good to hear that Thunderclan is okay. "Skyclan is doing the best it can, considering the circumstances." he replied with a hint of sadness in his tone. Cobraeyes seemed so happy and Elkpaw didn't want to get rid of that, but he had some things he needed to talk to her about."Cobraeyes, there is something important I want to tell you. But can we get a little further away from everyone?" He asked.

OOC: He is going to tell her that he is part thunderclan. Is that okay?

Ooc yeah sure that's fine

Cobraeyes blinked then nodded and smiled a little quietly"so really we can lead the way" she mewed.

Elkpaw flicked his ears in acknowledgment and led the way to a smaller clearing right outside the previous. He waited until they were both settled down and looked her in the eyes. "Cobraeyes, your Thunderclan and Im Skyclan. That what you know of correct?" he prompted. "Well my mother has recently informed me differently. It seems that my mother's mother is Thunderclan. That would make me one fourth Thunderclan." he explained. "I don't know why Im telling you this, but I feel that it's something that you must know."

Cobraeyes settled down and listened as he spoke. She nodded quietly at his statement before she continued to listen.she blinked"wow I...didn't know that " She mewed looking at him.

"I didn't either until just a few sunrises ago. My mother said that she would have rather liked to be born in Skyclan. I don't know why, I don't see anything wrong with Thunderclan. But I guess thats just my opinion." he said.

OOC: Where are we going to go with this conversation?

Ooc well we could possibly lead up to where they maybe mention the're feelings for each other without really saying it and I suppose end it there and pick it up again where Elkpaw is a warrior and just do a new topic then.

Ic:" yeah well she could feel that something in Thunderclan to her isn't very welcoming.but you know that's just her "Cobraeyes mewed calmly.

OOC: Cloverpool just pm'ed me and told me that Cobraeyes and Elkpaw are direct cousins. Is that a problem with you? But she also mentioned that Cobraeyes parents were related as well.

As for them confessing feelings without words and making another topic when Elkpaw is a warrior is good with me!

IC: "Yeah, but I just don't see what. Maybe it was some family problem or something I don't know about. Whatever it is shes happy now, and that's all that matters." He replied.

IC: Elkpaw looked up at the sky, the few clouds that were there were clearing, revealed a beautiful night sky where all of silverpelt was clear and shining brightly. Are you really there Starclan? he thought. "You can really see silverpelt tonight." he stated. He looked at Cobraeyes for a few moments before asking something that was nagging at his mind for quite some time. "Do you think Starclan really is up there? I mean, with everything that's going on. Skyclan is with Riverclan, Windclan refuses to give us back our territory, Riverclan wants sunningrocks, there's just so much tension in the Clans. Isn't Starclan supposed to help us?" He let all of his anxieties out. Last time he did this to another cat, his own mother, he felt weak and vulnerable. But this time, he felt like he would be supported and that Cobraeyes would understand.

Cobraeyes was quiet for a moment listening before she mewed " well I think starclan is really there buy maybe there is a reason for what is happening I'm..not too sure though."She mewed glancing up.

Elkpaws fur bristled up for some reason he couldn't explain and his pelt felt as if he were running through the forest on a warm day in Greenleaf. "Yeah, I suppose so. They must be doing something up there." he replied humorously trying to hide his confusing feelings. He looked down and observed his 'friend' while she was stargazing. Her Shiny golden bengal fur were enough to make any tom cat drool. But for Elkpaw it was her bright golden eyes. They looked as if they were brighter than even silverpelt on its brightest night. What am I thinking?! She's from Thunderclan! But, Im also part Thunderclan... Whatever, she can't read my thoughts right! he thought.
