Fixing that leg [Closed for Night]

Spottedstar went to the warriors den, and called Darkflight out. "Come Darkflight" she mewed, waiting for the new deputy to wake at the early hour.

A single yellow eye half open, Darkflight blinked a moment before realizing who had woken her up. She quickly got to her paws and pushed off her nest when it began to cling to her fur.
"Spottedstar! What do you need?" she murmured, not wanting to wake anyone before it was necessary.

"Come with me" she mewed, heading to the Medicine Cat den where Nightfire was waiting.

Confused for a moment, the brown she-cat shook out her fur before stepping out into the chilly Leafbare air and following Spottedstar. At the sight of Nightfire she frowned, her tail swishing once. "What's this about?"

"We are going to take your leg off the ground." she mewed, nodding at Nightfire whom went into his herb storage.

She looked down at her limp limb, paw dragging across the ground. The she-cat supposed it wasn't healthy to drag it. Oftentimes she forgot about it completely, after all, there wasn't any feeling in the thing. "Oh."

Nightfire walked out with his supplies. "Lay down" he mewed, waiting to prop up her leg.

Feeling awkward, the she-cat plopped down, kicking at her left leg so that it would lay flat on the ground. It was laid out at an odd angle, in away that would have been painful in other circumstances.

Nightfire picked up her leg with a paw, and working with his other paw and mouth, he wound her paw in vine and tied it up to her underbelly. Looking at it, it looked rough, and he himself wasn't sure about it.

Gazing at her leg as the medicine cat worked, the she-cat was still uncomfortable with the fact that she couldn't feel what was going on. Once it came up to her stomach it felt odd, like someone else was pressing their paw against her. Darkflight shifted to get to her paws and stumbled. She didn't realize how much she'd been leaning on her limp leg for support. Her claws gripped the ground uneasily, confused as to how to walk.
