2nd meeting with Mistyriver and Jaybird

Mistyriver took a bite, purring

Jaybird looked up and saw a rat. "That is strange..." Jaybird meowed,swiftly killing it and throwing it outside. "There are not rats here usually."

"really? that is strange then" she mewed

Jaybird smiled but got worried as the rain kept pouring outside. "Hopefully it won't keep us here all night.." he sighed,taking a bite of the mouse.

"Im sure we'll be able to get back." Mistyriver mewed hopefully. She then took another bite of the mouse, then mewed, "i just wonder what our Clans will think..."

Jaybird looked out,inches from the rain. "It doesn't matter. You are the only cat that has ever understood me." he said. "Even my brother hates me."

Mistyriver thought of her clan. what would they say if they found out? what would Bluesky think? would she understand? would it even madder? She looked at Jaybird. no, she thought, it wouldn't... her clan would have to find out sometime., "your right" she mewed quietly, "i feel almost the same way... i mean, i have Bluesky, but it's different with her... "

Jaybird smiled and sat down again. "Then I am glad-" he was cut off by a loud crackle of thunder. He jumped up and yowled. Soon after,though,he sat there laughing.

Mistyriver laughed too, she had also gave a start to the noise. She smiled, then began purring again.

Jaybird snickered then walked to the pile of hay,laying down and staring at the stars through a crack in the ceiling. Every now and then,a drop hit his eyes.

Mistriver padded over and lay down next to him.

suddenly,Jaybird blinked as the rain stopped. "That is better." Jaybird said smiling. "The stars look incredible."

"They do" Mistyriver mewed, then added quietly, "StarClan are watching us"

"They must be ashamed." Jaybird whispered,looking down.

"what do you mean jaybird?" Mistyriver asked quietly
