3rd times the charm [Thunderclan Deputy]

Spottedstar sat atop the Highrock, finally having her decision together. "Let all cats able to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!"

Cobraeyes blinked hearing the call before silently the she cat padded from the warriors den and stretched quietly before she sat down.

Frozenflame looked over as his leader called for a gathering. He had been scarfing down a meal and had planned to go hunting, but it would have to wait. The older warrior padded over to the Highrock and sat down.

Bluesong padded into the clearing after Frozenflame and took a spot. She looked up at Spottedstar with big blue eyes.

Darkflight looked up from grooming her long fur to sit below the Highrock, curious as to what Spottedstar's decision was. With a swift lick to remove a patch of dirt in her brown fur, the she-cat finally settled down.

Cloverpool padded over and sat down next to her mate, Frozenflame, purring quietly.

Cucumberpaw padded after her sister and sat down flicking her cream colored tail.

Beanfoot stepped forwards until he was touching his sisters foot, smiling lightly at his sister. "What do you think the chances are that Spottedstar makes me deputy?" He sneered, the young bachelor turning to look over his shoulder with a frown.

Robinflight joined the Clan in the clearing. It was good to be home. It was sad that they lost their deputy, and her former mentor. Ah, but she could never live up to his expectations, could she? Frankly, Robinflight cared very little for anyone else in the Clan. The rest of her loyalty lied with her immediate family, and ThunderClan was not her family. The calico kept her thoughts to herself. She looked up at Spottedstar, her eyes tired and dull. They'd been like that since they first lost their home.

Ryekit stuck his head out of the nursery. Unnoticed- of course he could catch his own prey!- he crept out under the Highrock. "What's happening?" he whispered to the first cat he saw (Robinflight).

Spottedstar looked at her clan gathering, and continued on. "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of ThunderClan is Darkflight." she paused to look at her choice. "Congratulations." but she paused again and continued. "I know you are very young, and with a limp limb. But I believe in you and Starclan will bless you."

Beanfoot was the first to call at the top of his lungs, delighted surprise marking his features as he looked to his sister with a grin. Flopping against her with loud purrs, muttering her name over and over, accompanying it with 'congratulations'. "Oh if mother could see you, us now, she'd be so proud!" Beanfoot could feel his heart swell as he spoke of their mother, he really did miss her even if all she did was yell at them when they became apprentices first thing.
