Wildkit, Soulkit and Cinderkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

OOC: can you add Soulkit and Cinderkit to this me and Smokecloud are ready for our apprenticeships sorry we didn't pm you we were busy today and Smokecloud can't get on until I get off, she losted her laptop so we have to share one right now

IC:Soulkit peered out of the nursery wondering what was happening now.

Sandfire padded from the nursery quietly to see what the meeting was about. She sat quietly outside the nursery and looked to Thrushstar before her adopted kit Soulkit and smiled some.

Wildkit bounded out of the nursery and almost tripped over himself in his frantic race to Thrush star.

Icekit padded out of the nursery. She wanted to know what was going on.

RussetKit poked his head out of the nursery to see what all the bustle was about, when he noticed cats gathering around the leader on the jagged rock. He padded the rest of the way out of the den to join some of the other kits

Cinderkit bounced out of the nursery and flicked her tail sitting down next to her brother Wildkit, and her crush Soulkit.

Soulkit smiled at Cinderkit and flicked her playfully with his tail.

"Tonight we gather to make these kits apprentices," Thrushstar said. "Wildkit, Soulkit, and Cinderkit, from now until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Wildpaw, Soulpaw, and Cinderpaw. Your mentors shall be Rainfire, Shatteredsoul, and Leopardfang respectively. May they teach you everything they know." With that, the ceremony was finished. Thrushstar leaped down to let the clan celebrate.

Wildpaw stepped up to his new mentor with a big smile on his face.

OOC: So Rainfire is Wildpaw's mentor, correct?

The silent tom perked up when his name was called to be a mentor. Did Thrushstar seriously expect the runt if a cat to teach an apprentice how to fight and hunt? Not only that, but the only words Shatteredsoul ever said was I do, and that was for his warrior ceremony. He nervously glanced at his grandmother, Sandfire, before he realized that Soulpaw was her adopted son, making him Shatteredsoul's uncle. He touched noses with Soulpaw awkwardly, then Shatteredsoul shot another nervous glance to his best friend, Rainfire,. Maybe I can get Rainfire to train Soulpaw for me, he thought before scolding himself for acting so cowardly. No, I have to train her. I don't like being around cats I hardly know so this should be a challenge.

Leopardfang approached Cinderpaw, his green eyes sharp and discerning. He met the new apprentice's nose with his own before meowing a greeting. "Congratulations. I expect to see you up early tomorrow night." He thought briefly on his last apprentice, young Vinepaw, killed sadly in a trap set by twolegs. The deputy silently told himself that he would not lose another apprentice. He would train all of his apprentices to properly look after themselves, and then he would not have the crushing weight of guilt on his shoulders again.
