First-Class Fighting (for Redpaw, other SC mentors/apprentices welcome)

Shimmerheart walked across the marshy ground, stars shimmering in the night sky. She walked over to wake up her apprentice for some training- it was high time that Redpaw learned some battle moves. Anyone else who wanted to come was welcome. "Redpaw," she whispered, "time for training."

Nightpaw got up and stretched. "Mind if I join you?" he yawned.

Shatteredpaw had been awake, but was laying in his nest and dozing off. At the sound of Shimmerheart's voice and Nightpaw's question, the tom stood up to join as well. He didn't ask, but just walked over because Shatteredpaw never talked. He was almost a warrior and he still hadn't spoken yet. Frostwhisper, his mother, worried about him; she thought he had something wrong with his vocal chords, but that wasn't the case.

Shimmerheart turned to Nightpaw and purred. "Of course you can come. Go ahead and wait outside." Then she saw Shatteredpaw's gaze on her. "Are you wanting to come too?" she asked. She shook her apprentice with a glossy black paw. "Get up already, Redpaw. You need training."

Nightpaw poked his brother. "Come on, Redpaw." he mewed.

Marigoldleaf walked over. "Can Dunepaw and I come?"

Finally Redpaw blinked and looked up mentor like the stud he was. He'd already fought of a rogue in the territory, but he knew he was little useful for more without the proper training, and an eager smile quickly spread on his face. "Alright? Is everyone coming? Will I have to fight them all?" The tom pulled himself up and onto his feet, following after Shimmerheart.

Shatteredpaw didn't respond to Shimmerheart's question to him, but rather padded outside of the den to wait for everybody. He wasn't sure about how he felt about fighting the other apprentices...especially since he didn't know them...but Shatteredpaw was going to do it anyway.

Nightpaw followed Shatteredpaw outside. He sat down and waited for the rest.

Silentkit peeked outside the nursery and nodded a greetings.

Nightpaw nodded back. "Hello, Silentkit." he greeted the kit.

Shimmerheart shook her head at Redpaw. "No, first I'll be teaching you, and then we'll get into pairs. Next time you might try waking up more promptly," she added with a purr to make sure he knew she was joking. "Well, let's get a move on. We'll go just outside of camp, to the pine-tree clearing," she told all the other apprentices. She nodded to Silentkit and started walking out of camp- a little nervously; she wished some other warriors had come along.

Mudfoot trotted towards the group of cats, his sleek fur shimmered in the winter sun. "Hello, mind if I join? I can go get Patchpaw and Barkpaw, who hasn't been on in a while ;w;." The handsome tom smiled, giving a respectful nod towards his former mentor.

"Not at all," Shimmerheart purred in relief. "If you want to go get Patchpaw, we'll be waiting for you just outside camp." She led the apprentices out past the entrance of camp, into the marshes.

Mudfoot gave a nod and walked over to the apprentice den. Patchpaw had been working hard lately and he could tell the small tom was tired. "Patchpaw isn't feeling to well today, I told him to catch up to us if he feels up for it." Mudfoot said softly, trotting after Shimmerheart.

ooc-crys hasn't been on/rped patchpaw for a while, so idk if I wanna wait for her or nah ;w;

OOC: It's fine, Ebs forgets abt Redpaw a lot.

IC: Shimmerheart sat down and waited for the lazy roleplayers apprentices.
