The Raid for Herbs [BATTLE]

Spottedstar led her clan though the almost barren Skyclan territory. Something seemed to happen so make trees go away. Her clan needed herbs badly, and she wasn't going to sit by and let them suffer. Deciding on the clan that didn't even belong there, she was going to raid for herbs. No killing. Was she turning senile? No. Just tired of the suffering in her clan. Hers before others. Stopping a little before the entrance, she lifted her tail so stop her patrol. Time to wait.

Oliveheart pressed himself almost against Robinflight. Yet another battle, but for a good cause.

Nightfire kept in the background, looking around. He wished he could battle himself, but he couldn't. What was this urge to be a warrior?

Darkpaw stood nearby, soft tail twitching every now and then out of nervousness. She shifted on her three living paws. Would she be able to fight at all? Well, she was here and there was no going back. She'd fight like Lionclan to keep her clan healthy, even against a nearly dead clan.

Viperfang lurked in the shadows besides Oliveheart, his pale green eyes watching for movement in the camp. The spotted tom was keen to battle, to have the blood of another drip down his paws, and the thrill of a battle. He knew that if he killed anyone, that would be dishonourable and he had no intention of doing so, but he lived for these thrills. And it looked like today, it would all work to his favour.

Ravenpaw lingered somewhat far behind Viperfang, his eyes locking on the seemingly small dens. He'd never been so frightened in his entire life - not even when a falcon circled the camp, and nearly feasted on the apprentice as a kit. He shook the thought away and creeped forward so that he was soon in front of Viperfang. His fur bristled more and more with every step, so much where he didn't even look like a tom called Ravenpaw anymore.

Frozenflame followed the patrol, a flame blazing in his eyes. He was ready to fight, and he would do anything to get herbs for his clan. He stopped with the rest of the cats and patiently waited for the signal of his leader to attack. He unsheathed his claws an dug them into the cold dirt as he silently waited in the shadows.

Beanpaw stuck close to Spottedstar, muscles tense as he waited, he needed to work away the joy and utter anger and frustration he was constantly feeling since his mother died and the camps were in ruin. The joy barely even squeezed through for he had passed his assessment. Tail still he surveyed the area, waiting, hoping to rip some pelts of the few Skyclan Warriors.

Midnightpaw padded after her father, keeping close. Her jet black pelt would be good for the shadows,, but the white and silver would give her away.

Minnowtail padded after her mate, her tail lashing.

Robinflight and Oliveheart were standing close enough to brush pelts. She could feel her brother's blood pumping, and no doubt he could feel hers as well. She nosed his ear gently, trying to calm the both of them down. The order was no killing. That was fine with Robinflight; she didn't need a death weighing on her conscious. Her only fear was another dizzy spell, and Spottedstar still didn't know about those. She didn't need to know.

"Who's there!" Rabbitwhisker snarled, the brown tabby tom had been enjoy a tasty morsel when the scent of ThunderClan had ruined his appetite. The tom was usually easy-going and not what one would consider threating, but something about this visit had him on edge. SkyClan was so vulnerable after their trees has all being blown and broken down, the idea that another clan was visiting right now had him on edge. He slinked over, cautiously, fur bristling to make him appear twice his size. When he came across a patrol of seasoned warriors and a few apprentices, he didn't even need to ask, he knew. "SkyClan! To me! We have intruders!"

IC: At the snarl of his father, his heart skipped several beats. He dropped his dove and vole, and let out a yowl. "ThunderClan intruders! Help us, StarClan," His paws nearly drifted away since he was running so quickly. His claws instinctively unsheathed, and his fur fluffed up, just like his father's. His glare scanned the group of hostile Clan cats, but it stopped at a seemingly weak apprentice. He doesn't know how to fight, Deerpaw noted. I'll take him down if it's the last thing I do. He vowed to fight Ravenpaw until he was too weak to say anything.

But he couldn't do that without help. No matter how much he growled and snarled, no one seemed to hear.

His ear flicked. Now they were calling for help? No! He had to be strong! He felt oddly uncomfortable as the SkyClan apprentice's glare landed on him, so his eyes held a warning; Don't get too close. I will bite, like a shark.

Sandpaw skidded to stop beside Deerpaw. She had perfected a vicious and hungry wolf state that could almost kill someone. It was full of burning rage and protection, and her green eyes made matters worse. They were malicious and powerful for an apprentice. She bared her fangs as she glared at the other clan. Her ginger fur bristled like spikes. Her paws itched to claw some fur off these intruders and teach them that Skyclan wasn't someone to mess with.
"What do you want?" She spat.

Maplepaw ran up beside her friends Sandpaw and Deerpaw. She did a double take when she saw her sister. She started in horror thinking she would fight her sister, but then she pushed that thought out of her head. She fluffed out her fluffy pelt and looked three times her size, lashing her tail she let out a growl from deep in her throat.

Minnowtail saw her sister and narrowed her eyes. She's a traitor! I don't care if she's my little sister or not she's not part of my family anymore. She thought and her neck fur bristled.

Midnightpaw stayed close to Ravenpaw and her parents. She looked at the small Skyclan group and almost laughed out loud. The jet black she cat with the white on her muzzle paws chest underbelly and tail tip hissed and fluffed her fur out as well. The silver dot under her eyes flashed when the sun light hit them, and her light stormy gray eyes held no emotion towards this.

Once he'd heard Rabbitwhisker's yowl, he couldn't day that he was all too surprised. ThunderClan had always lurked dangerously at their border, and with the storm that had practically ruined their camp - and their territory - they could do little to defend their own home. The trees weren't tall enough to drop down from, and their was no room to fight like they might've normally would. 'Fate has a cruel sense of humor,' He thought sadly, stepping out of the tent. 'And ThunderClan a cruel philosophy for living. Had I known they were coming, I might have welcomed them in myself.' For a time, he had liked to imagine that the two clans could be on decently good terms, so long as they stuck to the code and minded their own. Of course that had to have been just wishful thinking. 'First Stonespot, then Frostpaw's desth, and now this...' StarClan give him strength to protect his clan, he prayed, he feared more death was upon them - or losing the home of his clan. It was always in the back of his mind.

Breezestar finally made his appearance plain to the rest of the camp. "Hide the kits, queens, and elders!" He yowled, "Their safety is above all else!" He turned his jaded blue gaze back to the entrance. Was Breezestar shaking from anger, fear, or was it simply the chilly leaf-fall wind?

Snowkit shivered of fear, her eyes as thin as a stick. Her heart pounded as fast as a rabbit can run. She was so scared, she couldn't move. When a SkyClan warrior picked her up and hid her she felt a little better. We know what we're doing, we know what we're doing. she thought to try to calm herself. She would look on the bright side of everything, but this time she can't. Is there a bright side to this? A raid from ThunderClan?

Maplepaw picked up Snowkit and put her in the nursery and stood in front of it to protect her. Although she was an apprentice she was the age and size of a warrior.
