| "Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Thrushstar said. "Fogkit, from tonight until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Fogpaw. Your mentor will be Sandfire. May she teach you everything she knows." With that, the leader leaped off of the rock to let the rest of the clan finish the ceremony. |

| Fogpaw turned and looked at Sandfire. She always admired the she-cat and was happy to have her as a mentor. "I hope i can be as good as an apprentice as Deadpaw was." she thought. Fogpaw trotted over to her new mentor and touched noses with her. "Ill try my best to make Sandfire proud of me". |
