Sandy Sunrises

Sandpaw raced into camp carrying a bird in her jaws. It was probably the biggest bird she had caught yet! She dropped it on the fresh kill pile then sat down and began to groom herself. Her thick ginger fur seemed to glow in the setting sun. Sandpaw let out a large yawn and stretched. She felt good after her run through the forest and was set to curl up to sleep.

"Hiya, Sandpaw," A strange voice coughed with embarassment. Green eyes glared at the bird, the stomach of the strange and hungry creature growling unbrearibly. "Nice catch. Can I eat it? I promise I'll catch something yummy for you," He swore, his gaze glued on the huge bird.

A pain of hunger pierced his tummy. Deerpaw let out a painful moan.

Sandpaw stared at Deerpaw.
"Of course you can! I've already fed the elders today..." She mewed then looked him over again, her green eyes full of deep concern.
"Deerpaw.. are you okay?" She mewed in a tone that was a pitch too high.

"Thanks!" He cried happily digging into the delicous prey. His loud chewing seemed almost obniouxly.

His ears perked up at a voice.

Sandpaw's high, shrill voice.

"Nothing's wrong. I'm just hungry. Hey, how've you been lately? I've been great!" He responded, talking rapidly with chewed up gunk slightly in view in his moving mouth.

Sandpaw stared at Deerpaw.
"Why are you so hungry?" She asked. Then she shrugged.
"I've been fine. My mentor is working me so hard..."

"I...I...Just am. I haven't eaten since dawn, and... I've been training like crazy," He gave a stammering reply. "Rock has been taking it easy on me, though. I guess since he's leader that he has a lot of other things to do, too..." He said calmly.

Sandpaw nodded with agreement.
"Ya," She let out a small purr and she brushed against him and grabbed another bird. Sandpaw settled down beside him.

OOC: It's okie :3

IC: Sandpaw purred lightly at Deerpaw and licked his ear.
"The way Rockstar trains you, you'll be the best warrior in all of Skyclan," Sandpaw murmured softly. Her green eyes sparkled with delight.

OOC: Heehehehe. I love Deerpaw + Sandpaw lol

OOC: Is it ok if Deerpaw has several mates? I hope so otherwise... 

IC: Suprised by Sandpaw's sudden affection, he let out a cough... A choke. He continued to cough for several seconds, then stopped. "I'm fine, I'm fine," he cooed, then he nuzzled Sandpaw affectionately. 


"If I turn out to be, I promise and swear to StarClan that I'll teach you all I know." He finished his sentence with a crazy hack! "Anyways, why don't we go hunt together?" He suggested calmly, licking the chunks of unchewed prey off his whiskers.

IC: Sandpaw chuckled.
"I think my mentor is teaching me a lot... I bet I could beat you at a fight," Sandpaw challenged happily.
