The Deadly... Friend?

Rainpaw flicked his tail and purred, "Wanna practice a hunting crouch?" He mewed hopefully, Maybe if he practices he can cope with his paw.

Deadkit looked at the apprentices, hope sparkling in his icy blue eyes.
"That sounds great!" He mewed happily to Rainpaw.

Vinepaw smiled. "Yeah, let's try." He mewed, getting ready.

Rainpaw nodded and crouched, keeping his hind legs ready for a pounce, tail even and still. All his senses were alert and focused forward. "Like this!" He purred.

Deadkit copied what Rainpaw was doing. His paw kept getting in the way however and he kept focusing on maintaining his balance.

Vinepaw also did it for backup support for his brother. He was sure Deadkit could do it.

Rainpaw stood and helped his littermate get into a better position, "How about you lean a little? To help even the pressure?" He mewed hopefully.

Deadkit lashed his tail.
"I got it," he mewed.
